  1. I know the workshop concerned and I don't think there would have been any intention to try to rip you off. I think it's mostly a case of yours being the first RB manifold he has done and therefore being a bit of a guinea pig. The inlet manifold does look a little rough though, and below his normal standard. For the parts you are after, you are always better off going with a product that has some R&D behind it (ie. 6boost and Greddy) rather than going custom.

  6. Bit sleepy this morning princess?
  7. I have an RB25 series 1 AFM, I think they are the same as RB20 - green sticker. Working fine when removed, but one of the 4 bolt holes is broken. In Brisbane, yours for $80 PM if interested
  8. I openly admit that I chuck skids and speed, but I do it at appropriate times.
  9. how's the sunburn whitey?
  10. That's a good price
  11. On a positive note, congratulations and thanks to the organisers and all the other lil' doers on another successful and well planned SCC. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to family commitments, but the time I did spend was very enjoyable, Cheers
  12. If your friends are so hard I'm sure they can defend themselves, so no need for you to do it for them. And enough with the veiled threats of violence, you just come off as a keyboard warrior. You say you're "exactly the same" and "proud"?? So you're proud of being a tool who chucks skids in the middle of the day on a charity cruise? does ridiculous speeds on the freeway on a charity cruise?, belittles other Skyline owners on a SKYLINE charity cruise?, swears at women when confronted about their actions? and drinks alcohol while driving on a charity cruise. You and your friends are the kind of people who give the Skyline community a bad name in the eyes of Joe public. They see the actions of drivers (and their passengers) like you and your mates and tar us all with the same brush. You tell people to "think before they speak", how about you all think before you ACT!
  13. I have a set of 17x8/17x9's for sale if you're interested - $200 PM if keen
  14. Never used either, but I know they are both reputable workshops, so I'd say yes.
  15. LOL....now your skin matches your hair I'm a bit Le'Lobster myself
  16. If it's being tuned on a dyno, the tuner would/should be using a wideband o2 sensor, completely independant of the ECU (and the factory o2 sensor), so if the AFR's are perfect on the dyno then I'd say it should be fine.
  17. Hey!....was that one of MY cable ties? Post pics!!!
  18. Pics... There is also a foam/rubber strip attached to the bonnet which mates with the top of the partition and I actually get a bit of vacuum resistance when I open the bonnet.
  19. In the bin.....TT's are ghey
  20. Only problem with that is there would be nothing filtering the air before it hits the AFM. The filter panel in the factory box sits above the AFM.
  21. I made the factory snorkel fit by cutting it to fit around the cooler piping and then plastic welding (with a soldering iron it actually worked pretty well) a sheet of plastic over the hole, then made a partition with an inlet for the snorkel. The partition seals pretty well against the chassis and the bonnet and I also have a cold air feed from the front bar to the factory IC piping hole. Will take pics tomorrow when the camera batteries have charged.
