  1. Pics added. There is a small crack in the paint shown in one of the pics. There is another mark similar to this but smaller on the lower rear lip. Those wanting the wing shipped will need to organise it themselves.
  2. SOLD
  3. If you have a look at http://www.ls1turbo.com.au/ they are using KKR turbo, which are cheap as....(~$900) If you look at this picture of one of their kits: there isn't a whole lot to them. KKR turbo, exhaust manifold (surely any decent exhaust shop could do this for under $1000), intercooler ($200 + ~$400 for piping, silicone and clamps), wastegate and some lines (~$500), add another $500 for unexpected bits and pieces and do the install yourself. I'm not sure what they charge for their kits, but I would bet it's a lot more than the sum of the parts involved....
  4. Yes, but not to the extent it does now. I had an SAFC2 before the powerFC and it was really flat all the way to 5000rpm but then went like a rocket from there to redline. Now it pulls like a 14 year old schoolboy all the way through the rev range.
  5. My wife has an 05 WRX (stock) and I have a series 1 R33 with the following mods: 3" turbo back zaust FMIC Unifilter POD turbotech boost controller PFC High-flow R34 turbo @ ~ 1bar The 33 is soooooo much more fun to drive than the WRX and since the PFC was installed and tuned it feels a shitload quicker than the rex as well. IMHO, stick with the skyline and get the issues sorted. Once you have it running well and add a few select mods, you will be much happier than with a WRX.
  6. Defeat.......... miss has gone completely at .8 gap on denso iridiums $535 delivered from Perfectrun. Ordered on Tuesday and received the following Tuesday morning.
  7. I reckon this is about the best bang for your buck combo so far, but I would change a few things: 3" front/dump + 3" high-flow cat - $270+190 (BATMBL) 3" cat back exhaust - $300 (secondhand off forum or eBay) Hybrid copy FMIC - $200 (They're everywhere, some even cheaper) IC piping - $200 - 300 (Have an exhaust place make it for you and use the factory piping route or just buy a full FMIC kit for $500 and cut up your car...) POD and CAI - $200 (one of those ones with the perspex lid that Maxx was selling, or just make one yourself for about $50) Turbotech boost controller - $40 PowerFC w/ controller - $950 (gR33ddy GB) = $2450 say $500 for PFC tuning = $2950 That leaves $1050 to spend on a HU or whatever. Personally I would spend it on a set of DBA slotted rotors for the front and some whiteline sway bars.
  8. It is the first generatin Hybrid EBC. There should be a link on the first page to www.nismo.com.au that had some details. Someone has bid $1 for it on eBay, and I didn't mention in the auction that it was advertised elsewhere, so you will have to go to eBay now, sorry.
  9. Added some pictures of K&N filter and fuel reg. Most items are now on eBay, so will be gone shortly.
  10. hmmmm not really interested in being wingless while I find a stealth wing and get it painted. Sorry
  11. I had mine done at Ozzy Tyres in Coopers Plains area - $50 a corner
  12. who's dyno? and have you upgraded the injectors or AFM?
  13. If you have a stealth wing in Black I will swap mine
  14. yeah.....pretty pissed off.....for the cost involved in the Bosch conversion I could have almost bought a set of splitfires
  15. Well, for the moment I have gone back to the fctory coil packs under advisement from my tuner. The Bosch coils seemed to be running fine, although I did have to gap the plugs to .6 I installed a powerFC and took it to get tuned. The tuner insisted on using Denso Iridiums, so I went with his advice. He says he has tuned 20+ skylines with the factory coil packs and NEVER had a problem. Soooo he started tuning with the Bosch coils and the Denso's gapped at .8 but couldn't run any more than 1 bar and it was still breaking down on full throttle. It would rev cleanly to redline under half/three quarter throttle, but on WOT it would still crap itself. I needed the car back (daily driver) so he had to stop there, but he suggested I go back to the factory coils and see if the miss disappeared. I did so, and with the same plugs and gap the miss improved was wasn't completely gone. I swapped the plugs for a set of NGK Iridiums that I had which had only done 500k's or so, and gapped them at .6. Miss GONE at 1 Bar. That was about 1 1/2 weeks ago and everything has been running pretty well, but I took it for a drive last night and the miss is BACK at WOT. Not as bad as with the Bosch coils but under the same types of conditions. I have a pretty strong suspicion that there is a voltage drop or an earth leak under heavy load, so I'm going to give it back to the tuner and see what he can find. I am still in denial.........
  16. He is rather pedantic, but you will be happy with the results
  17. But that cruise is a "members only" cruise............. Non members can't even access the thread.....how is that any different from a model specific cruise which discriminates against other models? I would be keen to attend but don't think I should have to pay $50 for the privelidge.
  18. how about a black GST25T with a GTR wing? or should I start my own cruise?
  19. P.S. You can have my username if I can have your Turbo
  20. lol Andrew wants you to put one in doesn't he? Just go a 3" straight through pipe
