How many GTST's are there running in the 10's? I read another thread where you said you were going to run a 12.......now it's a 10. I might go to Willowbank next wednesday and run a.....hmmmm....let's see......10 sounds like a nice even number. Realistically I reckon you are looking at a mid to high 13. Feel free to prove me wrong

The PFC has been tuned by a highly respected Brisbane tuner, so I would doubt it.

PowerFC will not necessarily solve the misfire issue. Yes, it will get aroung the R&R issues, but I have just installed a PowerFC and am still missing at ~5000rpm with anything over 14psi. My coils aren't the issue either because I have done a Bosch coil pack convesion and even then I had to gap my plugs to .6 I am beginning to suspect there is a voltage drop to the coils at full load because the miss only happens at WOT. If I give it half throttle it will rev cleanly all the way to redline, but give it full throttle and it shits itself. In summary, try gapping your plugs to .6

Personally I wouldn't go hosing in the engine bay at all. Just spray the degreaser on a rag and wipe the offending area down.

They look like an excellent low cost alternative to the jap brands and are a direct replacement, no stuffing around with collars etc. He supplies a flow report with every set of injectors and they work out around $600 delivered for whatever size you want. I think he also offers some type of rebate if you give him your stock injectors. $3 - 400 cheaper for the same result sounds pretty good to me.....

I had the same thing happen when I blew the gasket between the head and exhaust manifold. My neighbour (a mechanic) welded a large washer onto what was left of the exhaust stud (in the head) and then welded a nut onto the washer. He had it out in 5 minutes. I'm pretty sure this is what an exhaust shop would do as well. Charging 5 hours for a job like that is a bit iffy. Even if it was a drive-in drive-out job, it should only take a decent workshop 3 or so hours. Oh....and you two need to get over yourselves............

There is a place on the coast (not sure where exactly coz I met the guy at his house) that has helped me out with a few bits. I think the name is All Automotive and their number is 5537 5877. One of the owners posts here in the WTB section, username: gtrgodzilla. I got a type M front bar and reo off them for what I thought was a reasonable price. There is another place I have discovered recently in Sinnamon Park. I have their card in the car but can't remember the name. Their number is 3715 6474. They have HEAPS of import parts.

yes mine is black. I don't go much for the lapping thing so don't see many cars of note

is the numberplate "600HP" ?
