I did driver training for my first time out and Sandown and I learnt heaps. I would advise doing it!! Okay my entry for this is going in tomorrow..... And my cars going back into Race Pace on Saturday to be tinkered with!!

I think you mean Auto Action!! Page 30. Yes it is in there, Joel sms'd me it was in there today and I got very excited then I saw the photo. Its tiny and unless you know me you wouldn't know it was my car. Anyway its still pretty cool. Lil Blu gets a bit of attention from the camera's! It's because she's pretty!!

Happy Birthday!

Ev, I'll be in Sydney from next Wednesday till Friday on business and then i'm staying for a weekend away, I won't shout you a drink but my work would be more than happy too.
-
I think i'll come to Calder, i'll be on street tyres but it'll be fun anyway. Might get kev to show me the ropes again if he is around. I learn't heaps off him last time.

Cool Videos! That car park was fun! Very slippery and it was the only event all weekend that I got 5 sec penalties on both runs!! Hit a cone in the gate on the first run and changed tyres for the second run. Stoopid cones & Tyres...

Snowys spin still gives me goose bumps!! That was scary and i wasn't even in the car!

I travel every second week usually. Totally over it, although i am now the best packer in the entire world and my frequent fly points are looking great. I Mainly go to Sydney & Brisbane and then i throw in an adelaide (boring!) trip every now and then. I never do day trips to Sydney or Brisbane only to adelaide which isn't that far. My home away from home is the Sheraton on the park in Sydney, they know me well now, I always get a corner suite because I'm special. I like Sydney the most because I have a chauffuer driver so its easy to get to all of my appointments. In brisbane and adelaide i have to rely on silver service cabs to haul me around and they suck. It didn't take me long to get over the travel though and I will never appreciate a 5 star hotel the same again. A lot of my friends hire hotels in Melbourne for a 'special' night out, i could think of nothing worse than having to stay in a 5 star hotel in the city i live in, I appreciate my own bed too much and they really arn't that good!!

James and Snowy spoke to him at Dutton and he will be joining up and coming to the show and shine from what I know. James will clarify that though.

Brisby - Yes! YAY! I ran a 129.53 on my first run. My second run was hindered with a little bit of ran and a penalty for having street tyres on the rear. And no I didn't have the Top Gun music playing while I had the car show in car camera, it would have been so cool too because the camera was facing me not the road, i could've been singing danger zone or something!! haha. I was too stressed about the whole tyre issue to think of music. Next time gadget. I do hope you and James liked my air guitar move though when we pulled up next to you on the way home blasting the Top Gun Theme music!!

Okay here is my rundown of the weekend James style: - Chris is an absolute legend and we were definately the noisiest people at the dinner presentation on Friday night when he took out three trophys for the quickest times. - Brisby broke one of Chris' trophys while very drunk and fighting for the front seat of the car with Snowy for their lift home whilst very intoxicated. - Snowys daughter Keira or Snowflake as adam likes to call her, is the most adorable little girl in the whole wide world. - Going to the Shepparton Strippers is not advised even if eveyone else is going. - Driving back from Shepparton I was behind the Z Tuned and a GT2 who decided to have a little bit of fun while driving next to each other on the hume and it was the best thing I saw all weekend!! - Adam wins everything on style points and had plenty of cheers. - James enjoyed driving around shepparton while still wearing his stealth race helmet because he forgot his sunglasses and it had a tinted viser. - No matter what dutton rally organisers tell you it is illegal to wear no number plates during transit stages of the rally, adam and Brisby both got a $120 Fine and three demerit points. We were pulled over for 50 minutes by the Benalla TMU, the organisers were even speaking to him on my mobile phone, but no dice we still got the fine. - Dutton rally was very Tiring. - Chris and Snowy were the coolest SAU team (Did we expect anything less!) as they both cleaned up in their class results and the overall results. Well Done Guys!! - Even though they are the coolest they nealry killed us all at Winton when they pushed the car to extreme limits and my heart certainly stopped for at least three seconds as snowy spun onto the main straight but then put the boot back in to get a killer lap, Chris did the same down the back side of the track. These boys definately drove hard all weekend!! - I was consistantly placed in the mid field all weekend but I'm just glad i finished. Definately need more track practise before next year. - Adam got a trohpy for 2nd place in our class and also came 8th overall in the co drivers handicap. - James did a fantastic job behind the wheel of the Silver bullet, he's never even driven a rear wheel drive before. I wouldn't be suprised if he brings out the cheater EVO for next year. - Brisby did really well in our class and came in at the front of the field which is great. - The shepparton barstaff need to realise that fiddy is not a replacement for the word fifty unless you are a nigro rapper. - SAU events rock, we get so much track time and have so much fun and the motokhanas are much better than some of the dutton ones! - EVO's are cheater cars. - Big thanks to Bec and Min for carrying all our crap around, go team SAU Support crew! - I don't want to think about Dutton again until March next year because i'm too tired. Thats about it from me.

So I'm packed, just a couple of things to do... Then I'm on my way!! See you guys on Sunday. This is sooo exciting!!! Adam and I will be playing track 1 from the Deca Top Gun soundtrack as we arrive at the first event tomorrow. Should add to the excitment!! hehe DA NA NA NANA NA NA NA, NA NI NA NA NI NA NA NI NA NA!! hehe

Should be a fun weekend, but james we don't have any events at essendon airport its all at Sandown on Sunday. My car is all ready to go so now we just have to wait for the big event to begin, hopefully the other SAU teams get there stuff finished before thursday! Would be great to see some support from SAU Members down there. Go Team Lil Blu!!

Won't be able to make it, i'll be at Sandown doing Dutton Rally. Maybe you should come to Sandown after the cruise. Get as many cars as possible to come down there while we are competing. Would be a fantastic Tribute.

Great shots as always joel, Now we've seen the good pics, the only ones left now are the messy after hours pics... Maybe we should not put those up at all. I'm sure they will be very funny!!

What a sad day in Australian motorsport. I'm shattered, I remember when I first realised who brocky was when I was only 4 or 5 in the early 80's at the Touring Cars at Sandown. And following the rounds with my family as I grew up. He was an absolute legend and will never be forgotten. RIP Brocky #05 - King of the Mountain. Bring on the Peter Brock Bathurst 1000.... #05 Racing till the end!
-
His co driver was Mick Hone, one of my editors is Mick's best mate and has spoken to the family. Mick is in a critical condition and has been taken to hospital.

Hey All, Just heard on the radio Peter Brock has died in a car accident in WA. Very Sad News... He was a LEGEND, May he rest in peace!
