  1. yeah pineapples, the original name until some aussies at whiteline decided to nename them subframe alignment kits. there are two pinion angle options; under subrame at front and above at rear will loosen rear, above at the front and below at the rear will give more traction (this is the desired setting for drift and circuit.) theere are a few places which can make them up her in adelaide for under half the $400 i saw someone post. there other even better alternatives which perform better and cost less, spun steel. if you have access to a lathe spin them up. they give way more stability under high load and eliminate tramp, only downside is the transmit more NVH. i use a combination of both.
  2. group buys 3 or more in each state $1200 delivered. individual $1300 delivered ps. i stole these pics as i did not have any.
  3. sorry, but if this is the one on your car i can do it for $450 frieghted. it is not my mould but a buy-in so its probaly from the same initial manufacturer. because of the freight to sydney $80-100 i can not better the price.
  4. i smashed my first vertex kit in half, then preceeded to drag remains for 300m. even though i lost parts still came up like new. i will chase some prices.
  5. i have not seen their r34 c-west kit, but their stuff is usually good for price. dont forget peter at body form he is bit of a master at glass repair give him a call on 02 97272788 he should be able to repair the original easily. we do it here all the time.
  6. it is importand to have a thermostat in the setup as the cooler and lines usually takes an extra litre or so, this added capacity combined with freezing air over cooler can mean especially in winter that the oil either never comes up to temp or runs to cold for too long. the t/stat is cheap and in just run inline if you use the earls or motospecs item part no. (0555-331758) it is depending on supplier $113. be aware to never mount cooler with inlets/outlets facing down, and to use a filter with anti drain back valves in them if you intend to remote mount it. most filters do have this valve but some cheaper brands dont.
  7. hopefully this works and pics show up.
  8. i will have one instore from about 12 til 3pm b4 it is sent to customer in qld. otherwise, it looks much like the vertex rear. i will find link and post it.
  9. just replying publically to barage of pm's i recieved from the initial posts, thought it was interesting it touched so many nerves.
  10. there ara few cheap ($3.99) options if you dont want to pay for greddy plugs or hks ones, i used champion racing plugs c61 equiv to 8 in ngk for the melb drift event, but also avail c59, c59 being slightly colder equiv to about 8.5 in a ngk good for cars running some decent boost. another option is bkr7evx gapped to around 7mm these are used in many of the drag skylines as they give good life. honestly though while i piss fart around changing plugs for different runs and so on. the greddy plugs in the D1*garage s14.5 which are an 8, last the longest ive seen (30k+) and lost no power even with continued drift abuse constantly on the limiter at 1.2bar+ the things have been checked but still havent been changed.
  11. on some cars the reversion steve was talking about earlier especially WITHOUT BOTH mesh pieces on AFM can be amplified by no bov, but it is rare. your tps voltage after adjusting idle up. i dont use a bov to help with throttle response, not between gears but mid corner with rapid on off throttle the bov causes soggy response. i no longer have a prob after getting tps and afm mesh shite sorted. check it i think it is .5 -.6 pm steve he knows his skyline shite inside out.
  12. if worst comes to worst gizzmo electronics in nz can reprogram the standard eprom to suit your mods, i know it will need to be changed each time you do major mods but least it is easy to remove, cheap to do and gauranteed to work. cant remember if they do rb25 though?? i am getting online with their stuff to offer the fmic, filter and zorst guys here in sa an affordable alternative to e-manage and powerfc, but i am far from being able to offer it, still collecting enough ecu's to do change over. give them a look http://www.gizzmoelectronics.co.nz/product...cuupgrades.html
  13. Used the e-manage over here on probally 6 cars now no hassles, and no coil failures. we used it only where a powerfc cannot be utilisedeg auto supra, soarer, auto skyline, jza70 and auto 180sx. not that it concerns you but some toyotas are difficult to get timing control. other than that they run sweet and give superior control to safc2 and equal performance to hand controller tuned powerfc's. it has no problem with larger injectors or even afm swaps even z32 onto toyotas and the like. if i were you i would buy local to get warranty. drop these guys an email [email protected] at D1*GARAGE, or if you have no luck could match any offer on the same stuff. but thats not why i posted. more interested in giving info on what we have found to be a good thing.
  14. can you blame him?? he is one of many, and wont be the last, so many peolpe are sick of the whole scene.
  15. details are only in planning stage hence the mention of possible dyno hiring, the GTR of KEIR is tuned to the same standard as any other car in the rh9 world. this car is an top example of australian planning and construction this car is set-up from begining to end in their particular style and it works, mike tunes this car and is one of australia's finest, so no i'd say it doesnt need a thing. id compare their set-up to any of japans top drag outfits without a hesitation. LOOK AT THIER TIMES.
  16. Skippy, where else are you gonna gets parts from? second hand shops are all about supply and demand and price is set accordingly, for sure some place ask to much but if its the only place that has it that the price that its worth. i did not call you or my customers whinging jerks, my statement simply portrayed an opinion of import owners (owners, which includes myself having owned a soarer, series six and a 180sx and daily driver of a GTR) in general by the majority of other genres and major motorsport sponsors. we have been trying to lift the profile of the scene and portray a more professional enthusiastic image we can all benefit from. hence our ties with TOYO, EXEDY JAPAN, SIGNAL, BLITZ, HKS and soon TRUST japan. This is for your and my benefit, those who see fit to belittle those heavily involved in promoting imports such as Martin Donnon (HPI MAG, ZOOM, SPEED and drift judge etc etc) and other SA business's will see them leave and the scene will slip back into obscurity.
  17. I was seriously considering becoming a major sponsor of PSI events and the club but i have had enough of immature slanderous people with no thought for the ongoing repercussions of such posts, not just on the people involved but the whole scene in general. i speak for many business owners and people involved in promoting the import scene when i say that some of these keyboard warriors will **** the scene for everyone, there is already a shortage of people willing or able to competently work on, supply and help import owner drivers. (D1*GARAGE is bringing SIGNAL over for your/our benefit not their own they dont make shit out of it trust me i know) i fight with suppliers locally and nationally to include south australia in events and to help promote our scene to peolpe overseas (that supply local business) so that we can gurantee its growth, but this continued bickering on forums has resulted in a stigma, where all import owners are branded tightarse whinging jerks who have nothing better to do than bad mouth each other behind their backs. if it continues less and less business will cater for us import drivers and in turn less importers will bring in parts new and used and prices for everything will skyrocket, people will be stuck buying second hand shit from dodgy backyard holes offering driveway warranties, none of which benefits anyone. I feel sorry for people such as Ben, TN and various others who genuinely support and promote the PSI club and get it involved in important events and then to have members/people from the inside continually drag it back down with jealous pre-school behaviour. Remeber if it was not for many of those (wheteher you like them or not) slagged off in the PSI post there probally would be much less of a import scene.
  18. Fuel type was the first question posed to me by BAi-san, so rest assured such an obvious mistake would not happen. remember these guys have shops in 4 different countries not just japan. some of the the quickest cars in these countries are also built in these w/shops. Signal US was one of three shops to recieve new civics for absolutely nicks to run in the import drag scene over there. the reason no-one will accept ultimate responsibility for engine damage is no two engines are the same. one could be as healthy as and handle the extra cylinder pressures and associated loads whereas the second may be close to expiry. this cannot always be instantly obvious and only surface once its to late. a perfect example is a r33 skyline i had the pleasure of fitting a few dollars worth of top shelf rx6 apexi turbo/ hks and trust parts about 2 years ago. this car already had a 'full" works 3 liter engine built by a now defunct worshop costing close to $16k. This engine was tuned by a more than competant tuner but had major engine failure three months later. failure was caused by shit engine build nothing else try explaining that to a person who has just paid 16k, luckily he did understand even b4 autopsy. the engine had no real signs of dramas b4 this (running standard turbo though) until it was subjected to more load. this extra load should have been easy to cope with considering the components used in the build. WHO is to blame? the engine builder in this case of course, but what if your engine is stock with bolt ons? indicated mileage are no indication of health especially as most imports speedos have had a haircut, bad servicing routines or even mistreated engines may only require a few hard runs on a dyno or on the street to show up signs of wear and imminent failure. it is all pot luck unless you know your engine is either fresh or have full granny history. remeber these engines were built 5-10 years ago have had possibly 1-5 owners all who bought them because they are performance cars and driven them fairly hard. with power levels up on stock of anywhere between 30-100% there are sure to be a few which can no longer handle the pace, this is not the dyno operators fault, it is just bad luck or sometimes just inevitable as our greed for top power pushes the boundaries of the stock internals to far. The ongoing "how many KW" at the wheels pissing contest is rife especially on forums like this, i personally would trade peak KW for low to mid NM any day. my 180sx makes an easy 250rwkw at 1.1bar and a shitload of torque my old series 6 made over 300rwkw but would get whipped on the street and in the hills by the 180sx. At 1.1bar and a flat dyno indicated a/f of 11.5 250rwkw is putting minimal strain on internals and the tuners conscience. We could get more power easily but reliabilty is the game and in its current state does not require it. 1.4bar would probaly see close to 300 but at the cost of maybe losing an engine due to component failure.... ill leave that to dyno queens and keyboard warriors.
  19. $1395 is the normal price which includes freight/insurance to adelaide. i need to get insurance becuase i have had 2 or 3 damaged in transit and im sure you guys are'nt gonna accept damaged goods. freight is usually $100ea and insurance is $50ea, but if i can get an order of 3 or more i could do them for $1100ea delivered/insured.
  20. i think the msports rear would look good with the trust front, i just had a look at the orange r32 we have here with trust kit and i looks good. i have one in stock $520.
  21. just got back from melb drift event sorry. will endevour to reply to all posts asap.
  22. will have pics and prices up 2morow.
  23. MSPORTS, BOMEX, VEILSIDE, TRUST. We can get the trial one for you through carmate if you prefer not to send money order over. i cannot beat their price on it though as it is one i cant source myself, and would get through them.
  24. I have one only at the moment, satin black one off the orange r32gts we had at autosalon. bit dusty but still fine. it is GTR so you will need to get a grille from D1GARAGE. $300 can get some other carbon and glass bonnets, i will try and get some pics to you. send me your email address.
