i got the rb25 turbo on my rb20 and its really noisy, sucking and hissing, probly the wastegate slightly open when not on full throttle, When i put my foot down i cant hear the turbo hardly at all, just a big pshh when i take the foot off. Try driving around with less throttle. or if that doesent work you could set it up shit like mine with no computer upgrade or boost controller. Split dumps can sound cool too, i got a cheap and nasty one (JJR) and it has a stupid flange bit which doesent fit and has to be ground back so it makes a whizzing sound when the gasses go around it. Im hoping to eliminate some of the noise, its ALL THE TIME and im over it.

got a greddy one i think its for a 33 cos it rubs here (arrow). Its got a good deep rub mark there, thats why i got a bit of rubber there. I gotta get the right one for my car; so i can sell this one if you want it.

PS. how many cc's at what fuel pressure are the gtr injectors? are yours clean? i can get new 470 cc denso for 510 bucks, thats cheaper than i thought

Anyone got a set of gtr injectors for my 32gtst? resistor pack? Or, where do i get good injectors for a reasonable price?

I get a lot of different opinions on the specs of 32 gtst injectors, most of the confusion is from people trying too sell injectors for it but they arent legit and the size is wrong. (ebay etc...) I know they are top feed I do know they are high resistance, but how many ohms? How long are they? Full? Half? 1/3? What type of plug is it? They are 11mm right? Pressure 42 psi right? Flow 270cc right? Whats that other pressure rating about?(sometimes theres another one in the specs) ANY other or more specific info would be great. Any suggestions for NEW not second hand injectors would be appreciated.

Not to mention engineering certs cos a 25 is over 15% bigger than a 20, the 20 is cool id stick with it too If you really care so much about power and speed get a sportbike, you will never go faster. I like my 32 cos i can eat and drive and stay out of the rain, not cos its super fast. Nothing wrong with a 20.

Dude! What your talking about can be done with an adaptor for your new stereo to Nissan wiring harness. So if you can take the old stereo out, just buy the adaptor plug and plug it in. So easy. Doh!

Ahh, thanks, ill check mine, dunno how sump oil could get there, theres no oil lines near there... Oh! the pcv valve! its letting oil vapour in the intake maybe. Try an oil catch can.

It would be silver solder or similar so you can unsolder it with an oxy and solder a new one in. So you need an oxy, some silver solder, multi grips and the new pipe. Easy.

I went there once looking for parts and the guy tried to sell me a chewed blown radiator for $100, i went up the road and asked a radiator guy how much do they cost to fix that kind of damage, $700. Glad i kept my money.

Wait a minute youve got a 32... show me some thing please, im having trouble finding where my outside sensor for ac goes, a lot of the front was missing when i bought it. I can take any photos of any area on mine if you need for you might find more missing/dodgy bits as you just bought the car.

So... 32 injectors are 14mm top feed high impedance right? What about length and the plug? So are ford ones, do they fit? there cheap! $240 for an injector clean or $270 for 6x 650cc ford injectors. Or whats a good cheap new injector? Whats tuning the injector? do the tuners have to tune each injector? does that mean i should get expensive ones? 2nd hand gtr ones will need a clean so i might as well get new ones.

Dude, check the thread for bits we can lend, theres stuff available to pass rego we are happy to lend to fellow skyliners to get rego. Ive got a rego muffler for a 32 and old suspension which is pretty standard.

Ive been looking for about 6 months fo an ecu upgrade for my 32 gtst... Very hard to find. Basically you are limited to what can be tuned in Canberra (who can do it). Ive found theres Haltech $3200, several tuners; or Nistune $1200 only one place (Auototech hume) Or some piggyback rip off crud... plenty of them. I know Nistune is technically piggyback but it gets good reviews so im getting that. I cant get an Apexi fc for mine, but you can for the 33, but i dunno if anyone here can tune it well. Critical decision, take your time, ring the mechanics, make a good choice. Good luck.

If its a regular thing like an alternative to friday night you will get to it one day. Just something simple like a sat or sun bbq n cruise at the cotter.

If you guys are bored we should do a regular cruise on a good road like the twisties and up to Blundells flat (the end of the bitumen on Uriarra rd). Plenty of good spots for a picnic too. When i rode sportbikes this was very popular and heaps of fun cos you just go at your own pace. If yous wanna have some fun ya gotta get off your ass and do stuff! Dunno if my opinoins valid seeing as im nearly 40 and i still like Lego and Playstation.
