  1. I'm with mafia insurance.......you hit us, we hit you.....
  2. Yes FREE...IF we ignore the $50 registration FEE........
  3. If they were throwing omelettes, would that make it "Delicious damage?"
  4. No offence ma'am, but what you don't know could fill a warehouse.
  5. Firstly, welcome and congrats on a great new ride! We're a really friendly bunch down here so I'm sure you'll have no trouble fitting in. I'll let the other guys handle the other questions, but I assure you, the plice treat us better here than anywhere else in Australia. Just last month we had a night meet and a couple of cops came down, lit up a smoke next to us and chatted for about 15 minutes asking us how we were and commenting on how nice some of the cars were and then wished us well and headed off. Now there were some cars there that could have been defected and put away for life.....and they knew that, but they were just making sure we were looking after ourselves and not breaking the law. The vehicle inspectors here are dicks, not the guys at the registry, they are also pretty fair, but it's the inspectors that go out and find cars to defect here that are tools, but even they don't go out of their way to make things hard for us. In conclusion, Canberra cops, in general, are great!
  6. well, yes, that's why that thread is there. Before you buy a skyline, any skyline, get it checked! There are some serious lemons out there and some that look great but are an explosion waiting to happen, go to Ed at Integra Automotive and have it checked there, he know's skylines. But DO NOT buy a skyline without a thorough inspection first.
  7. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why although i seel apartments all day, I will never buy one, doesn't matter how hard it is to break in to, apartment carparks are sooo easy to gain access to.
  8. Well Sean i gues you do have a few options here. As you and quite a few others know i was planning on buying quite an incredible 32GTR nearly 2 months ago, so close i had gone to arrange finance and drive to Melbourne to pick it up.....at the last minute i pulled out. At the end of the day it's not in line with my goals and plans for the future and the house is the smarter option. Housing prices are stable at the moment, they have risen 0.8% over the last 6 months (equating to about $2600 on a $300,000 house). Thing is Sean, you could probably afford to do both, I would suggest that if you plan on keeping the 33 long term then hold on to it, but prices are about to drop on them again I'd say so otherwise get rid of it. Otherwise don;t bother about topping up the deposit with the car money, just hold on to it as the banks will lend you the money anyway. I'm really happy with the choices i have made in the last 6 months, the skyline is gone (bummer) and i didn't get the GTR (double bummer) but within the next 2 years as a direct result of my choices to sacrifice now I should own 2 properties and a $40,000 GTR. Had i bought the GTR now i would have had to wait an extra year to buy the house, now even if prices rise 2% in that time It's around an extra $6000 of equity I'll have compared to a car that is losing money. My advice in a nutshell: If you're keeping the 33 long term, hold on to it and you'll still find a way to afford the house, otherwise, sacrifice now, sell it, buy the house and buy an amazing GTR in 2-3 years. That said, prices won't be doing a hell of a lot either way for the next 3 years so if you don't buy straight away it's not big loss.
  9. Wow! Thanks so much Jon! I really didnt expect that but i really appreciate it! It certainly was a tricky sale but I'm really glad we got it accross the line. I'd actually really like to thank Jon for giving me his trust and the opportunity to sell it for him. As always guys, if any of you need any asssistance in any property matter, even if you just need a bit of advice I'm always available to help whenever you need it. And while i have the chance if anyone ever bumps in to someone that might need a ahnd then I'd really appreciate it if you could tell them about me. Anyway, enough of plugging myself, thanks very much Jon, and just quietly....Awesome home! 5 bed + rumpus + triple garage, get better!
  10. No way in hell am i reading that but i simply cannot believe this has not sold, the thing has hardly been driven, damn shame!
  11. A flesh would? I cut your bloody arm off!!! Tis but a scratch! Have at you! Ah god bless those python flashbacks!
  12. What is your obsession with posting up my last name on these forums? I've told you before to stop fu**ing doing it! Jayce: Still can't figure out if you're taking the piss on that one, so in the words of principal Skinner "I choose to take that literally".
  13. At 17 i had a job with a great company, a bloody nice $4000 nissan exa and thousands saved in the bank......no help from family........you have no excuses This has been a community safety message brought to you by Andrew......... oh and just for bragging rights.......... At 18 I had an beautiful modified R33 Skyline paid for fully in cash by me, bar $2000 my parents loaned me temporarily...... That is all.... *wanders off to admire self in mirror for hours.......
  14. Just quietly, I wanted to give you a big pat on the back for the mature and intelligent way you are handling this, show's a sign of a very strong character, well done!
  15. Sweet.....Jesus that's cheap! *Runs to St George......
  16. It's a Single Din. If Gus is serious about taking it then it means he got in first. And seeing as we're all one big family here then Gus can have it for free.
  17. Lol Sean you should know by now, when i say "a few drinks" I mean water. I'm on a really strict diet at the moment so i can only really drink water anyway.
  18. I can not believe this hasn't gone! Between Morgs and RNGTR's I don't think you'd find 2 better examples of beautifuly built GTR's out there! It's just a shame of timing, if it was 9 months later i would have bought this or RN's by now. Hang in Morgs the price is great and I'm sure it will go!
  19. Hey guys, I have my R33 head unit still sitting at home that i totally forgot about, it's in absolutely perfect condition and, as i have no Skyline anymore i don't need it. So yep $50, but if I know you and i like you they just gimme $20 or something, and if i really like you (ya'll know who you are) then you can just have it for free. So yep, first in best dressed can have it, but if i don't really know you then it's $50 but for anyone just throw a price at me and you can have it
  20. Well why the fu*k not huh? I'll come out! (to see you not of the closet) Nik has convinced me as i promised i'd make an effort to see the car if he came out. I'm having drinks at King O'Malley's but i'll come out after.
  21. I think it's had a compounding effect, we lost Sin' so a couple stopped turning up, we lost them so a few more stopped turning up. I didn;t go last night cause i knew purely and simply that we might be lucky enough to get 1 or 2 there. Jayce: I messaged 'Ric to let you know i wasn't going so hopefully you got that message as i wanted to make sure you didn't get a nasty suprise to find i wasn't there. It's a true shame, I really do love going, but when you have to start going at 8 just to make sure at least your best 2 friends will be there (J and E) it only leaves an hour and a bit of socialising and when the driving takes an hour, it loses it's thrill.
  22. Lol i don't. The food is ok, $12.50 for salt and pepper squid and it's good.
  23. If some actually fu**ing turns up this week, i'll go. I waited for half an hour last week and no-one turned up, from now on unless i know someone is going, i'm not going to bother.
  24. Saw you this afternoon on teh parkway and it's looking very nice! I must say i'd love to have this sitting in my driveway, but i will do the right thing and wait untill i'm ready.
