actually i've never run it on 12pound. My appologies, at the time of writing the ad i had just installed the trust b/c and was setting it to 12psi but the way we connected it was wrong so when we tested it, it didnt change the boost, and i could'nt be bothered switching the hoses around so i just turned it off, and thus never ran higher boost. So it is still only running the stock (it is 7 or 5) psi. Im sure the b/c works but i just never got around to changing it. But its a phneumatic b/c so if i was going to run higher boost i'd just put in an EBC. But if the car sells for 18k (or close to it) i'll buy an Apexi EBC and have it installed before sale for whoever buys it.

I may not be able to get out there as previously planned, if anyone else is anywhere near me (Chapman) and wouldnt mind a passenger then a lift both ways would be great, if not thats fine and i'll see you out there some other time.

Private messaging?
Veilside R33 replied to frayli's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
Basically some Iraqi's are smuggling weapons of mass destruction into our country via the SAU Private Messaging System, they are compressing them into files then once they are opened by someone here, they immediately materialise into warheads in a remote location in the outback of Australia. So a big thanks is in order to our mods and admins for shutitng down their raquet! -
The Biggest Brain Explosion Ever!!!
Veilside R33 replied to rednut's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Well my dumbest "locked the keys in the car effort" goes like this: it was one of our ACT cruises a few months ago and it was pretty big, i spent the entire morning cleaning the car and getting it perfect, and half an hour before i was due to leave i had noticed my car had automatically armed itself locking the doors with the keys on the drivers seat! i was headless!!! i called richard (SINISTA32) and he agreed to have a shower and race over to help me out as he had the same alarm (my spare alarm button was'nt working so we figured we'd take the battery out of his one and try and put it in mine) he promptly received a call from me 5 minutes later telling him not to worry.........my drivers window was wide open. DUMBASS!!! but my biggest (and most costly) all time blunder would be trying to jump start my R33, not watching the connection beetween the jumpers, having them cross, ignite and set my boot on fire, while i was turning my alarm back on under the bonnett. The end result? New battery (would have needed one anyway) repair to some of the damaged wires, tow truck and several extra bits later....a $400 bill and the tow truck badly cracked my front bar. -

hey guys: Alph thats no worries, no offence taken but it is well below what i'll let it go for, thanks for being so polite about it, alot of people are just rude when it comes to low offers, so thanks. Giffo: most importantly how many km's? im now looking more towards a daihatsu sirion or deawoo lanos lately, purely because you can pick up immaculate ones with under 50kms for under 6k. Any ideas roughly what kind of cash adjustement your thinking of? basically im chasing a house deposit (hence why im looking at Sirions becasue they are so cheap) so im not sure if a lancer is on the cards anymore, let me know what you think, pm me if you'd prefer.

OK I'VE HAD IT!!! I CANT BELEIVE MY CAR HAS'NT SOLD!! its been in the paper for 3 weeks and not even a phone call!!! so it has to go NOW! it was going for 21.5k BUT ITS NOW DOWN TO 18K AND STILL NEG. There is'nt a thing wrong with it that i hav'nt listed, its very clean, very very well looked after and i simply have to have it gone, im in a new career in real estate and im buying a lancer and need to get it very soon and my licence has just been suspended. I dont want any time wasters or tyre kickers, if your serious let me know, come and check it out. R33 is for sale, its a genuine reason. Ive owned the car since early February 04 it was in great condition when i bought it and was lovingly looked after by its past owner and more so by me. here are the Details: 1993 R33 Gts-t just clocked over 101'000kms yesterday was always serviced by its past owner and it has just had it major 100km service done. all electrics including sunroof air conditioning MODS ENGINE 2.5l turbo, mines computer HKS series 1 SSQV BOV 3" full turbo back exhaust Apexi super intake Trust phneumatic boost controller with in cabin boost control dial (currently set at 12psi) Suspension and clutch Lowered springs and sitting at exactly 10ml at its lowest point I also have the factory springs and a set of R33 GTR superlows that will fit (superlows will come with the car if its sold at the right price) exedy heavy duty ceramic bottun clutch, only 4000kms old BODY Nismo front bar with carbon fibre inserts front bar has been completely silver meshed High Bomex rear wing RIMS GENUINE Dished Veilside 17's, i have only ever seen 2sets of these in australia, and with crappy tyres they retail at just under $4000, i have just had 2 brand new front tyres put on. INTERIOR Interior plastics resprayed in creme, also including a pillars and rear section. Drift handbrake Aftermarket pedals New black leather gear boot (will also replace handbrake boot in matching black if the car is sold at the right price) Nismo gear shifter STEREO Schneider full flip face head unit SECURITY complete alarm including central locking, exterior shock and motion sensors, interior microwave sensors, 3point immobiliser, boot and bonnet sensors also, panic feature, car finding feature and a few other functions. now for the imperfections. thanks to quikeze towing my left rear pod has been cracked, you will be able to pick up a cheap 2nd hand pod for around $50 and attach it straight on. Im being open and honest about the imperfections but it is in very good condition both mechanically and physically (appart from the pod) car was defected a few weeks ago, but has passed a full inspection, rear tyres are bals but i have a nice, near new set of dunlops to go on. at the moment thats all i can think of regarding mods etc, but i can honestly say im going to miss this car dearly. here are the pics, im hoping for a quick sale and not much fussing around. price is $18'000 neg. http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997743 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997788 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997794 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997827 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997980 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997974 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997974 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997984 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36997986 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36998034 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36998037 http://www.pbase.com/veilsider33/image/36998040 if there is any other info you would like just pm me or reply here, and i'll get back to you asap, i do want it gone asap but that does not mean i want any stupid offers! i honestly hope that the new owner loves, looks after and appreciates this car as much as i have and i know you'll get as much of a thrill from having it as me. Andrew.

to be honest, yeah! i had fun at the dyno day at the nats with Jayce but cars on dyno's dont do anything--------> rev rev rev noise noise noise, ooohhh power figure..... its kinda exciting seeing it in person, but on video its just dead boring! it much rather see a car doing what its intended for...being driven! if its so hugely powerfull i'd rather see it on a track doing its thing. and i really dont care what car it is but if its dyno footage on video it'll bore me, but by all means prove me wrong and find a way to excite my with dyno footage, if i actually enjoy it, then you've proved your point.
