  1. Wondering if anyone here has had to do this yet?
  2. the RB25 conversion is good except id ask them to ship it over without the crazy front and rear bar if i was going to use it as a track car
  3. Noticed this in my e-mail
  4. Bad luck dude I feel ur pain, lucky it was a accident with ur mate and not some random toss
  5. Iv got a bike 2 and I know exactly what ur on about, when im riding im busy trying to predict what all the cars around me are going to do. As well as staying out of blind spots.
  6. Noce job mate, things are going to get a bit harder soon for us @ dyno comps as I think commowhores will be out soon with a direct injected V6 pumping 220kw @ the fly
  7. so what did u pull off on the dyno?
  8. pump up your rear tyres a bit higer than normal, change your oil so its fresh, throw in a couple liters of tolul and see if the ECU detects the extra octane and ramps up the timing?
  9. Looks like ill be getting it fixed up on the Gold Coast, local panel shop up in Townsville wanted me to drop the car off next monday and wait 2 weeks as they work on it between jobs, what a joke When i called up my insurance company to get them to hold off till I move back to the Gold Coast they siad they had been quoted around $770, I know a panel beater back on the coast so might check out what he wants
  10. those apexi filters are great good flow and excelent filtration without being a wet filter used to have one on my 180sx before I threw the T67 trust kit on
  11. hook up some NO2
  12. Well considoring there are prob no more than 4 V35 coupes and 2 sedans I normaly wave and iv had a sedan flash its lights @ me
  13. im sure I saw an eppisode of mythbusters where they tried it to find no difference however they were testing it on some POS carby V8
  14. Stuff that im not waiting 4 weeks for a window to come over from japan! id sooner pay the $500
  15. Yeah iv made the police report, my insurance company required that I do this before they can process the claim. I know I didint go key my own car so its not my fault but Im not sure how id go not paying the excess. If it was the case of another driver hitting my car and they were at fault then their insurance company would pay the bill and the other driver would pay his insucance companys excess. However with this being a random event and I dont know the details of who did this "which is lucky for them" I im pretty sure its the same as me being at fault. Kind of like how you have house and contents insurance on your house and then someone burns it down you still pay the excess i think.
  16. On the build plate Colour code is KYO G
  17. Visited the insurance preferred panel shop this morning and it’s looking like a $1000+ job so considering my $500 excess looks like I’m going through insurance. Hope they don’t drag their feet as I need this done before 13th of October because I’m moving back to the Gold Coast I’ll consider this scratch a parting gift from the lowlifes of Townsville...
  18. Anyone know what the paint code is for my silver 03 V35? Or even better is it the same paint as any other nissan? maxima, 350z etc? Because I have to go to the panel shop 2morow for a quote on the damage and im betting this is the 1st V35 they have seen being in the far north and all.... Thank goodness im moving back to the coast mid October
  19. Yeah just pulled out my insurance paper and excess is $500 lucky for me I turned 25 in June which saves me having to pay another $400 ontop. I also have no claim discount for life
  20. I would normally just try scratch and swirl remover but this is deep run your fingernail over it and its like running over the grand canyon not that the pic shows the depth that well
  21. I never used to park my V35 in town or for that matter when I went shopping I would allways park far away from other cars as I could because my cars paint was in top nick and I had no pin dents in the body. Then I sold my daily hack a couple of weeks ago which I would park in town without fear of anything happening and if anything did it would not bother me Anyhow went out to dinner in Flinders street "bars n clubs/restruants" and just over an hour later I came back to see this WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO BE JEALOUS ASSHOLES f**king up someone elses car or property is just something I would never ever do. Particually someone random who I dont even know scratch is deep and cuts through to undercoat so theres no way i can polish it out Now iv never had a car keyed before and have no idea of what is going to cost to fix, I wouldent care so much if it was just on the door but because its on the rear quarter its going to make things more expensive to repair anyone know what im going to be looking @ to get it fixed? iv got full comp insurance with NRMA and i think my excess is $500
  22. SO what ur saying is that the spacer was good for 7kw on its own and then with a filter + the x tube it was good for another 8kw? was this done on the same dyno on the same day @ around the same time as 8rkw from just a ztube and filter sounds like a big gain for what they are so in total you netted an aditional 15rwkw by having the spacer the ztube and the filter?
  23. Dose a Z tube add any "real" power to the car? as in has anyone bothered to do a dyno test or anything... I just cant see there being much of a gain particually on a NA engine
  24. I know for sure that when the VDC is on that it will break individual wheels for example if I turn hard right at a slow speed and jump on the gas to kick the ass out, before it goes into a slide it I can hear it grab the front left break to stop the car going into oversteet as well as reducing the power.
  25. Id say best bang for ur buck would be to get a decent panel filter to drop in your current air box and a Z tube... the stock setup in the V35 isint too bad
