well ive got a gtr front end (fibreglass one from UAS) on my 33 and its doin fine. It is super light (as u would expect) and in my opinion is tougher than the weight would suggest. Now my car is lowered and doesnt have a helluva lotta room for clearance between the ground and bottom of the front bar, and its been scraped along a few driveways and humps but has come up fine. It sounds terrrible when u do scrape it but its just in the underside of the bar and no one can see it anyway. i think they are the goods at least...

geez, 125.4 when its supposed to be 125, all i can say is that u have experienced a great deal of bad luck, i mean couldnt the cop let u go without going into such a technicality since its pretty much on the limit. Fair enough if the cop decided to get you for power to weight if he saw u doin something stupid but really cmon... the best of luck to you...

paid 108.9cents/L for bp ultimate in wollongong NSW the other day, was 117.9 i think the week before...

And yes is there any talk of nissan making these locally??? they probably should, as they will no doubtly sell well for nissan here due the sheer lack of ppl who have interest in these cars

oh ur only 17, i didnt c that. insurance will be definitely over 3K. At 18 nrma quoted me 5K for full comprehensive, other such as just car are up to 2K cheaper. You could go 4 third party (inclusive of theft and stuff) and it will be alot cheaper. Insurance is always the problem with these lovely cars....damn premiums

Good choice on leaning towards the line imo, it will pay off in the end with hours upon hours and days upon days of satisfaction. Now regarding body kits, if u do end up getting one such as the one u posted a pic of then personally i dont think it needs a new kit. however a new front end such as a gtr style front end or a 400R front end is a good choice, as it the side skirts and rear quarter panels that are a neceassary so its in proportion. if its a early series 1 then the integrated factory stock spoiler looks great with the mentioned aftermarkets. Or u could just go somehting like a full 400r kit (looks alrite also). definately get some new 18's for looks also and it will give u a helluva lotter grip. then i could go to the next type of mods but i would be here forever, but if ur budget is up to 25K then u could get one with a kit and a fair bit of goodies under the bonnet anyway, so ur future is looking bright

well when i think about it the prices of the r32 and 33 should go down as more r34's will enter the country and more people demand them...

hey i was just wondering wat places sell the hybrid ebc in sydney?? i know UAS do but they are way out west, i was wondering if any other performance shops in southern suburbs sell them as i want to get one???

great idea i would most definitely use it at some point if it ever gets going (slow speed of course as i would be a shadow (at best) of my abilities in NFS Underground)

got mine in dec 02 with 77000 on it and now its up to 92000 and still running lovely (touch wood). Wen its time to let this one go its definitely a r34 gtr v-spec, cant really buy anything but a better skyline i reckon after you get one... they just hook you in i tells ya

i believe power means u hold the gear longer and it changes closer to redline and snow means the auto starts off in second gear and never chooses 1st So does anyone now if the R34 auto can bold straight onto the r33 auto?

speaking of auto gtst's, r33 in particular, does anyone know if it is possible to put the r34 tiptronic auto gearboxes into an r33 auto so it has tiptronic or are the lenghts of the shafts etc different???

i was wondering pretty much the same especially with the rb25 auto. are you planning to modify the auto trans in any way as i dont think it will handle the extra torque and power of the rb26. It will have to be strangthened in one way or another if this plan ends up workin expecially if u plan to increase the power output slightly by exhaust, filters and upping the boost. Would love to hear more about this project nevertheless if it gets going. :aroused:

well having driven one of the BA model fords with their auto tiptronic version u dont have to take your foot of the accelerator as is with all auto cars whether they are tiptronic or just plain auto, that is my understanding so i shouldnt see why nissan has made it any different. When ur friend drives around he'll probably fool people into it being manual

ok thnaks guys, oh this aint for my car by the way paulr33, i just heard today that a friend of mine said that this guys auto Line only runs 5 psi and i thought that theres something wrong wif his car as i thought they all run 7 as well. so looks like i was thinking right, anyway thanks again.

hey was just wondering do the auto skylines (r33's im talkin bout) only come at standard boost of 5psi? i thought they were the same as manual but i could be wrong anyone want to clarify for me...

Goon, i live in wollongong and the reading about it in the paper suggests that the police were very happy about how the supercruise went, they said that a couple people people doing burnouts spoilt it a bit, but otherwise they were happy that everything went smoothly and just about everyone was well behaved. the only thing they didnt expect was so many cars. So nothings suggests that the police will not allow another supercruise and stuff like that. Anyway, i hope the same amount of people turn up again next year and have a good time in a responsible, and safe manner as i was at work at anzac day and missed out...

jay.r33 i am wondering since u said that net is a bigger fuel pump and regulator. how is the standard fuel system working with that amount of power? im guessin u are getting close to pushing the limits of the fuel pump??

hey i was just wodering what boost level are you running because i was going to put mine at 12psi. Is yours more than 12?? So, what i am asking is there boost cutting at 12 or only above that 12 psi??
