  1. shouldn't you speak to your tuner, he'd be the best to advise on safety for engines i'd assume, seeing as he tunes it for a certain amount
  2. ohhh yeah buy an electronic boost controller, much better then a bleed valve especially if you are going to be running big boost and power
  3. well 260 rwkw will deffo require a turbo upgrade, so doing things like manual bleed valves anf fancy dumps at the moment are kinda waste of cash, if you are going to do all this in a relatively small period of time, go for things like the intercooler, fuel pump, fuel reg, pod, and and 3" cat and cat back exhaust. then once you've saved your pennys go for the injectors, AFM, ECU, turbo route, all these require the aftermarket ECU, so doing all at once will mean you only need to get it tuned once, all you can put a fancy dump on at this point. as for clutch, tyres suspension etc...that can all wait but don't expect your clutch to last very long at all with 260 rwkw, mine died before i hit 200....might even die on the dyno, who knows but be prepared tyres, well if u can avoid spinning them (have fun with 260 rwkw) they should be no different, but every time u loose traction then you are going to need new tyres suspension, well again its optionaly but if u dont' wanna die its something u should consider
  4. i've the got the 1st one style on my 33 so it gets my vote
  5. Phil Nelthorpe, Engineering Manager i think is his title works in the top corner office do u know effy who used to work there, maroon skyline GLT-00Y ?
  6. wow my old boy works at VAMT, he never told me there was a stag owner out there, i'm from charlie, drive a blackish 33, FR33SH on the plates, need a bigger turbo though
  7. i have found that once u fill it up, keep an eye on it and top her up after a small drive, mine seemed to have a lot of air in the system but this was gone after a top-up, dunno if u have this problem using the above mentioned method
  8. a set oof WRX injectors will only get u 4, meaning u will need 2 sets.....
  9. i've been done, 3 points and $300 f**kin ridiculous, light didn't turn orange till i was 3/4 way thru the intersection but the local bitch cop still found it neccesary, me and my mates have racked up so many trivial ridiculous fines from her its not funny. but yeah tried everything to get out of it and nothing....
  10. same i usually measure what comes out and put that amount back in, car doesn't leak oil so don't need to top up
  11. i'm still trying to figure out how the supercharge outlet runs into the hose clamp nice photochop
  12. exhaust, assuming u r goin turbo back with the exhaust, u will get more power out of it and i'm also assuming you aren't going to be increasing boost in which case you'll notice and exhaust 10x as mmuch as a cooler
  13. meh little less pinging then on ultimate but didn't notice any improvement, seemed happier when boosting in 40 deg heat
  14. but bathurst isn't a dedicated track, its a public road, so u probably can't go to a track day on it
  15. went from newy to melbourne and back last week, 3000k's in a week cost me about $400-$450 in fuel expensive week for the car
  16. why no handbrake in the pits ??? something to do with brake heat ??? can u elaborate please
  17. there was a car 33 in hot4s ages ago which had the covers off and looked mad, i would consider sometinhg like that, it was black that blue one looks weird ford falcon xr6 (BA) is an option there are some like that but i don't like em, each to their own though or else you could go an r34 front......
  18. be careful when doing this, apparently there is a bar support behind the bit in which you wanna cut off. I've been told when i hit my panel beater up to do this that you have to refabricate a new support. maybe i need to find a new panel beater....cause i want the same effect
  19. coolant - don't use it, fill the radiator up with distilled water and add a bottle of redline water wetter, have a read on their website about how it works, better then any coolant shit, unless of course you are going to be parking in areas where the temp drops below zero, in which case you might need something with antifreeze in it
  20. dunno what stae your in but in NSW we can't have turbo or v8 on your P's so what i'd do buy a shitbox for 1000 and keep it for a yr whilst u save, and if u really want that v8 or turbo car, drive ur shotbox nicely for a yr, maintain it well, don't crash it, don't get any infringements and when you get off ur Ps go buy the car u want, u might have more savings by then and your parents will think you are responsible that what i did, well sorta.......
  21. not impressed on how he has drgged turbo technics in on such a scam, i'm sure they wouldn't be impressed, i'll get my mate to ask who owns a skyline with PFC making 288rwhp, maybe we can flush him out
  22. why does your air-con click, mine does the exact same thing and i'm art a aloss as to where to start with it.....
  23. yeah u must be far from an expert, the cam shaft control the opening and closing of valves to allow air into and out of the engine, then have nothing to do with ATTESSA the shaft your are tihnk of may be the front drive shaft which goes from the transfer case to the front diff, yes as is mentioned above can be unbolted.
