Kawaskai city isnt too far from tokyo. But it really depends on which part of tokyo you want to know how far it is from. We got the train from the west of tokyo one night and it took no longer than 30 minutes. Which Airport are you asking about I gather Narita. From Narita its a bit of a hike possibly 2.5 hours give or take a little. I havent explored Kawaskai a lot as Ive only been there to attend a rave. But the main street kinda looked a little like middle brighton but with a cobble stone street and cream colored buildings.

also violent crimes in japan are increasing also... It seems that this type on information doesnt get out of japan but there have been many VIOLENT and I mean viloent crimes that have happened here in the past few months...

Word of warning if you want to work for nova dont work full time... work flexi time. flexi time is restricted to people below 30 years of age though so depending on when you come over here you may have no choice. And yes it is a good job if you want time off but the paper work is always a pain.

Also dont forget the cost of insurance rego and a parking spot and it turns out to be a huge problem and not worth the effort... unless its something expensive
