    J16 Jamboree!

I went both days and was a good turnout, sat was a way better day to go then sunday. Was good to see all in all and was lucky enough to see the world record pass by the heat treatments r32 gtr late sat afternoon/night, so that makes it a worth while trip for me. Was good to see so many fast cars, many in the consitant 7 second zone which realy says something about the sport, it's only getting bigger and faster. My persoanl fave's are, heat treatmetns r32 gtr @ 7.57 , gas motor sport camry @ 6.8 and mr mad in his insane twin turbo 2000hp torrana @ 6.8, and i saw all the fastest passes It was a pitty not to see that many quick skylines with many og the big players having gremlins, but thats racing for ya

  17. A sad loss to australia and his family, rest in peace mr irwin..
  18. He is a private mechanic and works for himself. He'll look after you though. PM me if you want his number.
  19. What about surge problems and cam shaft durations. Say the idea did work and you started getting some decent psi very early in the rev range, i doubt the motor would be able or is designed to swallow X amount of air a X amount of revs with cams that are designed to work later in the rev range., unless of course you had some type of way of bleeding of access pressure. Many factors need to be considered when thinking about these things and if one of the jap companys haven't thought of some kind of system now i doubt many other people will... Good effort though!
  20. Scotty tell me it isn't so! Noooooooooo! I saw it outside your work just the other day sitting there looking all pretty.. I Can't believe it actualy went, after all the ' uming ' and ' aring ' about selling it, i didnt think you could let go of it. Hah i'm soon to feel you pain as my gtr is about to go aswell . Hahah bretto and marty will be most displeased with you now aswell!!
  21. Marty is a good friend of mine and works/services on my car (r32 gtr) and many of my good mates cars aswell. I can vouch for him 100%. His 180sx has neally 400rwkw and was featured in zoom years ago, which he rebulit and maintains himself. I know a few guys on here that will also vouch for his work too, and his rates are very good.
  22. I'd spend the extra money and get the work done by a tuner who is one of the best in qld, matt spry. I've been in a few cars done by him now comared to other workshops and i'd have to say his tunes are the best.
  23. Anyone go to QR on sunday to watch the drift? What a mad day! Spent 8 hours there, got sunburnt, ate 4 dagwood dogs, laughed at people lapping around the ouside of the track, met some drift drivers, was an excellent day.. well worth the trip down.
