series 1 just to the front of the middle theres a tube comming out of the head and passes i think back into the head (probably to burn unburnt gasses or something). head right to the back of the head theres a box about 6x6cm or so in the middle of the black cover. 4 screws holding it in with a set or 2 of wires hanging off it

im gonna take the spark plugs out and check them tomorrow morning, at the back of the black cover theres some kind of sensor or something. is that hard to take off and replace or is there anything else that might be a ittle bit tricky that i need to watch out for? then ill get the fuel flow tested

can any mechanic do a fuel pressure check and fuel flow check? roughly what costs are envolved if u know?

hrm as far as i can tell i got no fuel cut defender (maybe thats coz i dont know what it looks like). im running 7psi boost. can leaning out damage the car?

its not pinging when it does that is it? as far as i can see theres no puff of smoke do u mean like when u see some of the high powered skylines hitting the drags and they change gear and all the smoke (fuel) comes out?

anyone know which fuse is for the the headlights on the drivers side front? i seem to have blown a fuse (i think & hope) where ive lost all internal lights which are connected to my lights on/off switch. i think ive lost tail lights too. anyone able to help me out here?

i have a r33 gtst and while im accelerating with my foot to the floor, when i hit about 4 or 5 thousand rpm i get a massive pop comming through the exhaust. its not that loud but while it does the single pop the car stopped accelerating for that brief second and then screams the rest of the way to red line. im worried if this is a bad thing or if it can do any damage at all. any ideas?

oops sorry guys i ment to post this in maintenance thanks memphis, you wouldnt happen to know which fuse is for the head lights? i wouldnt have a clue with all the japanese

hey guys i went to adjust my headlight angle when i noticed the cap wasnt screwed on properly, so i opened it to find out why and there was a nice spark that scared the hell outa me. now the lights on the drivers side dont work at all, i dont think its the bulb coz when i tested the wires i got no signal. could it possibly be a fuse that operates only one side of the car? i dont wanna wait til tuesday for a mechanic (after public holidays) coz im suppost to be cruising with some other turbo cars tonight

i havnt had my 33 all that long but i think its time for its first oil change. i use the car daily and it gets a bit of a hammering probably a few times a day. i plan to change it every 5000km. what oil would you recommend i use along with filters and anything else u can think of? id rather not spend heaps and heaps on oil so if theres any good oils out there for a descent price id love to know!

cool, i dont know what pinging sounds like but i was hoping that wasn't it antilag systems, how do they go with ur tubo and exhaust with these explosions comming right out the exhaust? do they kinda hurt the turbo or exhaust at all?

its not that loud at all, i had an integra with a 2inch that was heaps louder sometimes at about 6000 rpm i might get a pop through the exhaust thats not a bad thing is it? (im not sure what a 3inch sounds like off hand)

i got a 3.5 inch straight through but am in need of a dump pipe any ideas on how much they are installed? also if theres much difference between each brand

i was wondering, if you turned boost to 0psi would the car still be drivable? and if so would it majorly reduce ur fuel consumption. for every day driving i try and keep boost below 0, but i still hear the BOV releasing pressure, is this right?

anybody know that the rwkw of a stock r33 gtst? someone told me the japanese dont go by flywheel only what is at the wheels which would mean they would be 184rwkw, is that correct?

hey guys last week i realised i was running 2 bov's, one is standard and 1 is a hks. who ever installed it before i got the car didnt block the stock one. can this damage the turbo at all? sometimes i find the car will stall (once every few days) and i hear alot of talk about atmo bov's are useless. i wasnt sure if running 2 can do that

hey guys, ive pulled the door apart and i am getting voltage up to the final connection before the motor on the outer part of the door. (hope that makes sense ) i connected the battery direcly up to the motor and that didnt wind the window down but im not sure if that would work anyway. anyone able to help me here? im stuck thanks!

the drivers side window on my r33 wont open and i think its because the switch is stuffed. has anyone had this problem before and knows how to fix it (if i can actually do it myself?) thanks guys!!

is 1.3 bar boost too much for a ballbearing turbo?

i heard ball bearing turbo's should outlast the life of your car, are they able to take much higher boost and larger degrees of thrashing? to replace a standard r33 turbo would a ballbearing be a sensible option?

thanks guys, what is a T3 flange? my mate has a 93 180sx running 1bar constantly, he rarely ever drives faster than his grandma, is that ok to run 1bar as he does?

an s13 has a T25, an s15 has a t28 (i think thats right). what size turbo is in a standard r33 gtst, and what are the main problems that appear with these. can you run much more that 1bar through them?

hey guys, when buying a r33 gtst what are the most common things to look out for, like anything that could be damaged or anything is broken is there much chance of oil in the radiator on these kind of cars? also is it worth doing compression checks to make sure its all fine?

i recently bought an r33 gtst with a brass button clutch installed, what are the advantages of this kind of clutch? i havn't heard much about them
