hey guys my front number plate is on the right hand (drivers side) of the front of the car. because its there it sorta bends slightly around the side of the car. im not sure if a camera will or wont pick up my whole plate so im wondering if its illegal? standing in front of the car it is totally 100% visible tho.

i know a guy who changed a mk4 5 sp NA to a 6 sp twin turbo. i dont know much about how he done it but it is very unstable. besides for the price and reliability your better off just selling yours and buying a turbo from factory model.

hey guys, anybody know if bindex advance and ultimate pads are any good? i have some people telling me their horrible, but others tell me their great for general street use where they wont get too hot. whats your opinion?

tomorrow i need to rotate my front and rears, where abouts are the jacking points on a r33? are they easy to get in to? my car is quiet low and the neighbours cat cant even get under it.

when i turn my park lights on, nothing happens. when i have full lights on and i turn high beam on all my other lights (including internal and rears) turn off everything used to work fine until last week when i blew my RH head lights fuse. i have no idea what is going on, but i want to go to the pits to get permits but i was told they might sticker me if my lights dont work. any ideas?

is there any reason why radar jammers wouldnt work? if they can pick up a signal and tell u its there, they should be able to send multiple (of the same) signals back, jamming their reading.

is there any problem with mixing fuel? when my gf takes my car out she insists on filling it with caltex vortex fuel, but i will always only put BP ultimate in. i did find that my car's exhaust would pop while accelerating at high revs and lately it hasnt been doing that. im not sure if its the better fuel or maybe just the cooler weather

im only running 7psi and dont intend to change it in a hurry. today on the cruise a few of the guys said they were running 18 through the standard turbo. and i was thinking hrm...

is it at all safe to run 18psi through a standard series 1 r33 turbo? maybe if the intercooler is big enough?

in that case im damn proud to own a rice burner might just be coz their 5L gets beaten by a car half the capacity and they need to look tough by calling us names. in a way u can actually feel sorry for them!

Did anyone hear about some country or state which removed speed cameras for a 12 month trial? they found there was no difference from the average of deaths while using or not using them. In New Zealand everyone gets flashed same as here if you speed so many km over the limit, but they take the top 15% and fine only those guys and that seems to work well, its fair, and its not revenue raising! maybe our government could learn something there

i think i need to get a few permits just to be safe, does anyone know what i need to do in order to get them? i went to liscencing and they said they will permit you for things they can but anything thats illegal they can sticker you for at the same time! i need permits for the exhaust 2 A pillar guages monster tacho (unless i just take it out) BOV (im running 2 hehe) boost controller lowered suspension (think it will be boarderline with 100mm clearance POD filter thing thats all, will that be a problem with those? Oh an apparently carbon fibre bonnets are legal on cars pre 1995 because they weren't subject to ADR's or something similar. anyone got any info on this one??

what are the current laws in WA on radar scanners and jammers? im pretty sure the scanners are still legal, ? but im pretty sure that the jammers wouldnt be hehe is there anywhere where they can be purchased for off road use?

yeah not the smartest thing, but he thought 2 cars on the road + cop, freeway, (although 80 zone not 100) not the most dangerous of situations

hey guys! Last night i was cruising with a few mates, one of them in an S14 was clocked down the graham farmer freeway doing 146kph, so he got slapped with 6 demerit points and a $350 fine and stickered for every mod he had. I saw the cop there and tried to grab my phone to warn him but (damn connection time) i was too late and the lights went on. i guess this is why we need UHF's! So anyway i guess he got off pretty lighty because he was trying to be polite to the cop. He managed to avoid being locked up, taken to court, $1500 fine and loss of liscence. I guess we just gotta be more careful, especially around those bridges! anybody know how much those radar jammers (front and rear) are and if they actually work? Thanks!!
