i have a standard blow off valve on my 33 and it makes a flutter sound and im thinking this isnt good. its always done it, it sounds great, and im running 10 pound boost with standard cooler. is this eventually going to kill my turbo? if so does it normally take long and how can i fix the problem? i also have a pod filter, but it used to do it before i installed the pod

what they were doing was stupid and dangerous, like the nuts right next to people, but im sure most people with performance cars have more brains than that. i dont think its fair we all have that image on our heads. most of us do take more care, even when we are stupid :headspin:

thats a turbo at 102 rpm? how does that work? i thought if anything it would have to be a huge turbo to help with the power

what oil do you use? and roughly how much was it? did you change your own?

i have a r33 with about 87km on the clock i find that until the gearbox gets warm it is quiet stiff, not hard to operate or change gear by any means, but it is quiet firm when shifting gear. does this mean i need an oil change or maybe its a thick oil that is being used? btw...how often should you change your gear box oil?

alrighty ill do that it is spotless inside and out i thought maybe being completely stock it might hold some people back from buying. its not as fast as some of the ones out there (obviously)

hey ppl, on my old car, if i went to an area i didnt trust and had to leave the car, i would open the bonnet and remove the rotor arm from inside the cap. this way there is absolutely no way you can start the car unless somebody trying to steal it just happenens to have the same rotor arm with them. in a line theres its not a 25 sec job to remove it, but what is there on a line (r33) which only takes about 25 sec to remove, and without it there is absolutely no way to start the car? preferably something you can just put in your pocket and walk away with. i know we have immobilizers but there are still heaps of cars being stolen, and id just rather it not be mine. any ideas?

if you have 1000 maximum hp your not developing 1000hp all the time, that is just the maximum amount which might only get touched every now and then. drive it like a granny every day you might only be producing 200hp

at least in WA carbon fibre is not illegal on i think pre 95 cars, something to do with the ARD's according to the bonnets do not apply. cops will still try and pin u for it

well i got the 11's and gapped them to 6. put them in today, and it was amazingly a big job for something so simple. took about 2.5hrs

i have a standard bov and hks bov, both running together. didnt seem to have any issues at all. but the other day when i had my car dyno'd and they told me best to shut off the hks coz the air flow metre didnt like run at its best with the hks.

it seems to be fine now it was only on my way home from work it done it. when i went out that night it done it just a touch, but most peopel wouldnt notice. today i given it a little squirt and it seemed fine. maybe tomorrow night it will do it again

hey guys i was recommended the NGK BCP6ES spark plugs. i rang a few auto stores and they only have NGK BCP6E which they rekon are the same plugs, but i was told to watch out to make sure its the NGK BCP6ES with the S on the end. anyone (in perth?) know where i can get hold of them?
