  2. Yeah im running a powerFC still have stock AFM at the moment tho so that will need changing. I dont mind a little bit of lumpyness tho either sound good when i rock up to my lady's house whos neighbour's family has nothing but commodores, most of which V8's
  3. I am aiming to get to the 255rwkw, from what i have seen to get up to 265rwkw with a GCG high flow you need to change the cams too. I am wondering what cams i will need to make this power output and will the car idle a bit more lumpy than standard, still be drivable for every day use.
  4. Thats what i thought but he swears black and blue they are 555cc The only thing im really worried about is that if they are not genuine, they might be a lower quality and fail on me
  5. Do you want to see any particular angles? I bought them from a registered business in perth. Workshops i have spoken to recommend them as being honest. He got them from a guy who sells performance parts to a number of workshops in the area.

  9. A similar question again... If you run a fuel map for smaller injectors than the ones currently installed (eg installed bigger injectors but not yet tuned) is there any ill effects doing that?

I am wondering if nismo brought out 555cc injectors in almost a burgundy red colour from pictures ive googled they look identical to the 740cc I also thought the part number may be listed on the actual injector instead. the only text i can see is 'made in japan'. Any ideas how i can tell if they are fake? Cheers!
  11. I have come across some very well priced 555cc and 740cc nismo injectors. They are so well priced im expecting them to be either 2nd hand or dodgy 1 way or another. Does anyone know the part numbers for the injectors listed or any variance in colour, or anything else i can look out for to spot whether they are genuine or not? Also i am looking to run a GCG high flow on an rb25 with a Pfc, is the 740cc set a better one to go for over the 555's? Cheers! 555cc - 16600-RR420 (yellow) ? 740cc - 16600-RRR60 (purple) ?

  14. Yeah, i was a little confused because my workshop said they will be right on the limit and from what ive read on here they should be good for alot more power than what i have. I just replaced my fuel filter because it was over due, from what i can tell i am hitting about the 89% duty in 3rd gear. But ill see how it goes over the next few days

  19. What sort of power can the walbro pumps handle up to? or are you saying their not very reliable from the word go? Btw, i have read many of your post's sydneykid, they are most helpful!
  20. Hi guys I saw a really nice set of rims the other day on a burgundy skyline. they were 3 'twin' spoke black wheels with a red rim around it. they were 17" and looked awesome. If anyone knows what they are called or where i can buy a set it would be much appreciated! Btw, i have a photo onmy phone, when i get my dodgy ebay data cable working ill upload it! (GtstV-spec used to have a set, and he said they were a sparco model)
  21. I have been doing a bit of reading on here to find out what the next mod i should do to my car is. My goal is about 330rwhp with a good dose of torque i currently have a S1 33 gtst with: Turbo back Exhaust Cold air box w/pod Front mount cooler Power FC Walbro fuel pump running 13psi also with a brass clutch I've read that alot of people have had good success with GCG high flow turbos with a fair wack power atw, but still running standard injectors. I was under the impression you can get a good 295ishrwhp with standards but anything more than that they will start maxing out. Ive had a maximum inj duty of 97% and its only been tuned to the 270rwhp mark, could that have been a once off spike? The last thing i want to do is have my engine go bang so i would like your advise on what my next investment should be, or if im missing anything like upgrading my coils etc. Thanks!

I just noticed on my way to work this morning that as i was cruising along i could hear a sound, sounded like a metallic rubbing sound, very faint. once i got over or below that rpm (even in neutral) the sound would disappear. the car seems to drive normally and it may have been there for a while because its very hard to notice. i was wondering if this could be something serious, or if it could have anything to do with a rescently installed powerfc?
