    BOV needs to be connected to the vacuum line from manifold for it to release the pressure difference between manifold & cooler piping when the throttle body closes. Dyno is a must unless you leave the cam gear on zero degrees & there is no use in that!!

    I need to know how much of a difference there is beetween an R32 RB25DE auto & an R33 RB25DET. Torque converter, input and output shafts, pert no. any info would be helpful. Panikin

    As far as I know you can use auto ECU with a manual but not manual ECU with an auto as they don't have the shift logic installed

    I found fitting these to an R33 ser 1, It was difficult to get the room in the engine bay but with some R&D I have made a bracket to mount to the firewall,clear the brake lines(ABS) & cam cover while not fouling on the bonnet. As spx25t's mate said if you need a diagram other than the one already posted don't do it, take it to a decent auto electrician with a copy of the diagram. pics of install will be posted later.

    the 32 has a standard rb20det Auto which is shagged and I have an Rb25det auto in good condition to whack in if they're the same.

    Anybody know what is needed to put an Rb25det auto into an R32 w/Rb20det ? Tailshaft mods? G/Box mounts ? Any Information would be greatly appreciated. Panikin.

    My R32's auto is in need of a rebuild and I'm wondering if any of you would know a reputable automatic transmisson workshop with previous skyline experience. Anyone who has had their auto rebuilt in S.E.Qld have any recommendations? Cheers, Panikin'

    The Consult does not read knock, Impakt said that it is not available through it.It only tells you if they are working or not. I am working on a Knock Reader which is tapped into the sensors, they seem to operate between 4v at idle, start up & cranking and drop in volts as more knock is detected. This may take awhile as work is taking most of my time.

    Jaycar DFA does work for a cheap alt. to SAFC.

    DFA will do the job quite nicely. search the stagea disscussion board for more info, Sydneykid is the one who created the thread and has a good wrap for them. I have yet to tune mine but it was not to hard to install PM me for a wiring diagram for it and the iebc.

    the plastic gets brittle over time and cracks appear however small they are there, the spark jumps from under the cradle to the metal (just a note i used hi temp gasket silicone as a quickfix until funds for spiltfires are available). My car was fine on stock boost any more and it felt like crap and sputtered badly.

    Looks like your coilpacks are rooted (the burn marks on them are a tell tale sign of this.). try some without those marks where the spark is esacaping or buy Splitfires if you have the funds.

    Tammy one of the local suncorp tellers has a 40th anniversary skyline and it seems that it has A-LSD,ABS,D/AIRBAG(is this any different to S2?) and some badges on it from the factory,nothing more. Very nice car but I think she paid a bit much for it.

    There is a VH45DE converted R33 in QLD that does 12's , search is your friend.
