  1. Did a little work on the interior today. Removed the remaining sound deadening, cleaned up and started painting. Now this is not going to be as neat a paint job as some other builds, but its simply to neaten up the interior a bit and make it better than before. Now for some up side down terrible phone pictures. Enjoy
  2. The track days were good. It was my first time on Barbagello so I was learning the track but it was great fun. Sunday was not the best, it started raining after I had one dry run. Then I did 2 wet runs but the track got too dangerous and one person crashed so they cut the day short. But all in all its been good.
  3. Some cosmetic-ish mods today. Checkered plate so as to have a flat surface under my feet. Carbon insert to mount turbo timer and boost gauge and the oil temp and pressure gauges when I get them Amir
  4. Thanks for all the info guys, that's why these forums are so good. I'll look around for some decent front arms and get it aligned etc. Any idea if we have any australian suppliers of cusco and other decent brands. Cheers heaps fellaz Amir
  5. Pipes look good man. Any noticeable power gains? Whoe cares about color man, its about function not form (well to me it is anyway) Looking good
  6. Yeah but wont be ready for a couple of months. I need something sooner. There seems to be 2 different shapes/styles. What is the difference? I think this has been canvassed in another thread but the pictures arent working so not sure if who ever posted was referring to the same thing: Ones that look like this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Adjustable-Front-Upper-Camber-Arms-Nissan-Skyline-R32-GTR-GTST-300zx-Z32-/161416313445?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2595297a65 and ones that look like this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Front-Upper-Camber-Arms-for-Nissan-Skyline-R34-GTR-GTT-R33-GTR-GTS-T-/321109392159?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac39c7b1f Any idea? Cheers for the help peeps Amir
  7. Cheers guys. Will concentrate on the fronts for now. Michael, I also want to run the hard race gear but spoke to them recently and they only have rears. Any idea where I can get some decent value for money adjustable fronts? Cheers
  8. Thanks Matt. Rear is around 0.75 degree +/- adjustable as standard is that right?
  9. Wow super quick response, is your GTR that fast? To adjust camber would be the obvious reason here Michael. Did some research and talked to a few people and the consensus is that I should run some negative camber on the track. Will look at some fronts, do you have any suggestions re brands/suppliers mate? Cheers for the response Amir
  10. Hey folks, Did a bit of a search but un sure on this one. I wan to adjust the camber on front and rear of my R33. I may have to buy rear and front arm sets separately due to budget. Question is, which ones should I do first? Should I get the rears and drive around for a while and then get the fronts? Or other way round? Ideally all would be done together Im guessing. cheers Amir
  11. First track day was on Thursday, great fun. Minor work on the car this weekend, mounted and plumbed the oil catch can, little hole cut out and air pipe installed to help keep temps a bit cooler under bonnet till I get some header wrap and pod enclosure etc sorted. Next thing I want to sort out are camber arms for front and rear. We'll see what happens. Cheers Amir
  12. Those are good times man. Mine were laughable, hopefully Ill get them down next time.
  13. Alright bringing this thread back, does anyone have the weight distribution figures for R33 GTS-t? Cheers in advance Amir
  14. Last night was good. First time out for me and it was very enjoyable. Was good to meet and have a chat to Jared. Hopefully see you guys out there next month. Cheers Amir
  15. Bunnings mate, in the plumbing section. They are called basin covers or basin plugs or something like that. Measure the hole to be covered and get a suitable size. Amir
  16. Cheers man. Yeah I think there are 3 other Skylines but all 34s. That's it man, get out there have some fun and make some mates who share the same interest. You should do the no limits event mid October mate, I will definitely be keen on that one. Hope you you sort out the pump soon. Cheers Amir
  17. Shaun, did you wet a rag with metho and then go over the sound deadener or pour it straight on? I think it would be a good idea to put it in a sprayer and spray it on. Thoughts? Amir
  18. Cheers for the advice Shaun (and the brake duct hints - I pretty much followed what you did in your thread). I tried using a heat gun for the last bits but lets just say it got out of hand. Yeah mate, looking to do speed series and those sorts of events. Im heading up to Barbagello on Thursday to do the no limits event and get the car going and if all goes wel I might be doing the RAC track on Sunday. Cheers Amir
  19. Did some more work on the car today. First I stopped at GoGear and picked up some brake ducts and some racing boots. First thing was to bleed the brakes. Then we mounted the brake ducts. Since I didnt have any brackets for the ducts, my brother in law just mounted them using zip ties - a lot of zip ties and some ingenuity. Then I wanted to "plug" some holes in the car which were a result of the sound deadening removal (the bits that cover them froze and broke off). Went to bunnings and a mate came up with the idea of using basin plugs/covers with two metal plates. They worked a treat; just put them on, tighten them and cut off the excess thread with the grinder. Fire extinguisher mounted using a piece of metal and a couple of nuts and bolts. Thats all for now. Cheers Amir
  20. No sorry mate
  21. Just went through this build thread; very nice mate. Any updates? Amir
  22. Hey mate. Are you referring to the cooler? Which brand/kit did you go for. I know some of them like the cooling pro ones dont fit very well.
  23. Saw the list for next Thursday's no limits event; a few skylines heading out there. Hope to meet some of you guys up there. Cheers
