  1. Negative. Contacted him but he didn't get back to me. It seems to be a trend these days
  2. So would this fit with the stock plenum?
  3. Nice car overall mate. Can't say that the arts and crafts bits are my cup of tea but over all a nice car. Is this thing going to see any track time? It would be a shame if it's not.
  4. Well put sir. I think your right about the ebay, I will have a look there.
  5. Nay. Work beckons
  6. Lots of thinking - as whether or not this is the right path to go down....
  7. Nice. Im looking at buying coilovers from them but they dont seem to offer EMS for coilovers. I dont want to wait up to 3 months for sea freight.
  8. hahahahahhaah cheers mate. Have you dealt with import monster/yahoo before? Are they trust worthy? They seem to have good products
  9. Thanks mate. I've never used Yahoo auctions. Where is the description of the products?
  10. Hey folks, Today I received news from whiteline that their front and rear sway bar kit (bars, bushes, links etc) for R33 Skyline (Product # BNK010) won't be available for at least 6-8 weeks. Does anyone know where I can source a similar kit from? Hardrace have the rear kit and I'm waiting for them to get back to me about the front. If anyone knows where I can get a similar kit thats decent quality please let me know. Cheers Amir
  11. New brakes fitted this weekend. Much better bite than previous setup. Still on std calipers. Out with the old, in with the new. Will test them on the track on the 29th hopefuly.
  12. Nice mate, all the best. Will see you out there hopefuly.
  13. Sounds good mate, I think I'll give it a go. Meanwhile I'm talking to Gary (Sydneykid) and he's giving me some great info and advice.
  14. How's this thing going Shaun. Is that you attending the NL 29 Nov all day event? Amir
  15. Im not but I am considering a membership so I can do some of their events. I never knew they offered such a service as this though
  16. That's a great idea, thanks for the tip. Anyone know someone in Perth who can perform such a service? My tire guy is fairly experienced with this sort of stuff so I may have a chat to him soon.
  17. Cheers for all the info mate, really helpful. I'll keep looking and learning till I find something.
  18. Yeah your right mate. Most jap brands Im finding are either 8/6 or 10/8. My main concern is the car being good on the track. I dont drive it enough on the road to care all that much about how stiff it is. That's the thing, it's really going to be a matter of trial and error - something I dont like to hear when im on a budget. Starting to learn that budget and motorsport do not go together all that well....
  19. Nice, thanks guys I appreciate the info. I know you cant give me a yes or no answer and nor am I looking for one, but a forum member is selling a set of Greddy type S coilovers (8/6 Spring Rates and adjustable damper). Was thinking of getting them or something similar as a begginner set up. What are your thoughts?
  20. Thanks mate. I sent MCA an email this morning with some of these questions. I should hear back from them soon and I'll ask the rest of the questions. But most importantly, I need to know the answers I want to hear. So can you tell me: What sort of valving is better (for my application)? Is replacing the uniball with rubber bush to reduce noise etc? Cheers
  21. I think your on the money djr81. I want something better than what I have now (which is almose anything) but obviously trying other setups will answer the question of what is better. It just keeps going
  22. The reasoning is that I am a beginner when it comes to driving on the track. So there is a lot of testing and learning to be done. And if I can find something that will do in the short term for cheaper then why not go with that? But then the question becomes, why not get something decent and pay extra at the start and not having to change again later. I do get that. I'm exploring options as any prudent buyer would I guess.
