  1. Just had a look at a couple of photos I had of the pads, they look very similar to the ones I had on before.
  2. Yes, hence we are at this point now
  3. yeah its sad that we're at a point where you cant simply trust the odo reading on skylines
  4. Cheers for the advice
  5. Is it a series 2 turbo? If so, how much for it and the braided oil like shipped to perth metro area (postcode 6028) Amir
  6. Standard calipers. QFM pads and some slotted rotors that are the same size as factory. So its ok that the pad does not cover the entire surface of the disc?
  7. they should if they are the correct offset
  8. Hey all Recently changed the pads on my series 2 r33 gtst. I used QFM A1RM pads. I noticed that the pads are not making contact with the entire surface of the disc. I hope the photo clarifies. I dont think this is normal as Im thinking that the pad should make contact with the entire surface of the rotor. Could you guys please advise. Cheers Amir
  9. Still here. Happy to ship Aus wide
  10. ARC so must be something good
  11. I doubt that but then again I'm not the first owner
  12. Yeah your right. New 6 point harnesses are within the $300 range so its worth buying brand new. The seat I have is Sparco Pro 2000 which is FIA approved for another 2-3 years.
  13. Penrite Premium 5-60? I used 10-40 racing the last time on the track (with an oil cooler) but oil pressure seems weird. Sometimes its ok sometimes its not. Mind you I am only going by the stock gauge which is known not to be the most accurate. You reckon I should try the 5-60?
  14. Wow your motor has done that many KMs and still goes hard? Makes me less worried about my 175000KM motor which I thought was too high
  15. I see. If I run the harness I am planning to use a harness bar and have the shoulder belts as horizontal as possible.
  16. I've seen and gone through that guide before, cheers man. It didnt mention that the shoulder belts should not run straight accross the shoulder. The idea is that if the shoulder belt is resting on the driver's shoulder, in a crash it will push down on the shoulders and could compress the driver's spine. This is why it should run accross the seat and then down towards the shoulders pulling the driver back into the seat (as opposed to pushing down on the driver). Why do you say its better for the strap to rest on the driver's shoulders? Cheers for the input
  17. Option 2 is what I was thinking. But I think it might be a silly idea and if they come loose in a crash or something then I may have a problem. Best bet to get a seat that fits I guess. But that means going XL seat which means it will be much wider (Im quite slim) and will defeat the purpose. Its really hard finding the right size seat
  18. Yeah thats it. I thought there would be a few ml in there after a few track days. But im also running low boost on a std turbo
  19. Cheers for the input guys. Yes, my thoughts were that no oil in CC = good but wanted to make sure as Ive been revving the car pretty hard. Yes there is stainless steel mesh in the can to act as a baffle. Cheers Amir
  20. Hey folks. After doing a few track days, my catch can is empty. Is this normal? I have it set up like Hamish did here http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/129549-oil-catch-can-mounting-and-roughting/page-2 Can someone shed some light on why this may be? Cheers Amir
