  1. Nothing wrong with OEM. These are just cheaper. I rang Nissan and they quoted me $509 just for the tensioner and Idler pullies!!! The guys at Golbey's said that the water pump will fit but I have to leave one bolt out (it is a gmb pump). Is this ok to use? I remember reading somehwere on here once that thats ok.
  2. Hey folks, Thinking of buying this kit for my R33 Rb25det: http://www.golebysparts.com.au/parts/view/56/23/nissan-rb20det-rb25det-and-rb26dett/timing-belts-timing-belt-kits-water-pumps-and-thermostat/rb20det-rb25det-rb26dett-gates-racing-timing-belt-kit-and-water-pump (apologies for the external link) Any advice you guys can give me on things to look out for etc? How do I ensure the water pump will fit. And has anyone dealt with these guys before? Cheers Amir

Booked the 22 Jan event folks. Hope to see you out there. If anyone can share pictures/tips of their light bar installation that would be helpful. Cheers Amir
  5. These are still here
  6. Pics of splitter WIP?
  7. Would you separate? I am after oil temp and pressure gauges. Amir
  8. Sounds good
  9. Track day at barbagallo yesterday - great fun. Other than my gear box (4th gear synchro clips) and suspension issues, the car ran very well. Managed to shave off some seconds off the lap times so I was happy. Good to meet Shaun and thanks for the tips mate. Also good to meet Andrew whos car is an absolute monster. Thanks to the new rotors and pads I had on, stopping power was substanitially improved. I was able to brake much later than I was before which meant my right foot spent more time where it wanted to be - on the gas. Only problem with track days is when the day ends. Now what? Looking forward fot the next event. Will upload pictures of the track day if I find any of my mate. Till the next episode folks.... Amir

Hey Wes. I haven't entered and I dont think I will be able to do this one, although I really want to. I went up to barbagallo yesterday for the full day No Limits event. Was heaps of fun. If I sort a light bar in a day or two and still have time to enter then I might. How big is the list so far? Amir
  11. Good to hear mate. What's next on the to do list?
  12. Seat looks like it would turn up ok. Not a fan of leb spec tinted indicators. Will you be heading up to barbagallo on the weekend Jez?
  13. Borrow a functioning one from a mate and see if it works
  14. You might find what your looking for amongst the 600 odd posts in the brake pad user rating guide.
  15. Ummmmmmm you painted your seat??
  16. I see mate, all the best with it all.
  17. All the best with this build mate, I'll be watching it closely for sure. I love M3s and RB motors. Your combining the two, enough said Amir
  18. Thats a shame about the tyre, they are good tyres those ones. Im not all that knowlegable but it looks like they needed to be heat cycled to strengthen the bonds in the compund. It looks as though its been pulled apart from either end and tore - which leads me to believe that it needed to be heat cycled. But then again, if the other tyre is ok then heat cycling may not be the issue. Are you alignment specs all good? Amir
  19. Thanks for the tips guys. Why did you have to pull out mate? Issues with the car? If you decide to come up, by all means mate I would appreciate any advice or tips you may have. Amir
  20. All the best with the transplant mate. Do you by any chance know anyonw who could fabricate a couple of brackets to which I can hook up the ducts. Im just using cable ties atm and they dont really work in getting the ducts to sit exactly where I want them to
