  1. Was on plumb back now a screamer pipe. Had problem with the roll pin in the v band clamp. Now replaced. Still not sealing properly.
  2. Yep. Makes boost a bit earlier but still leaking.
  3. Ok I just fitted a 45mm turbosmart exturnal wastegate with screamer pipe. I have noticed that when the car is idol the is exhaust gass coming out of the screamer pipe. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it. I'm thinking of putting a heavier spring in as I want to run a base pressure of 18psi. I will have to run a 10 psi outer a 5psi middle and a 3psi inner.
  4. E85 draws in moisture from the air. Thats what stuffs everything.
  5. I want the neo head to live. Its going on the 30 bottom end. With new valves and springs that is. I run 98ron as the car can sit for months at a time. I dnt mind e85 but will wait until the new engine is run in.
  6. Was told that by 999 automotive. If I run 98 don't go past 22psi and if I run e85 then not to go past 26 27psi.
  7. Been told the neo head/vvalves don't like more the 22psi on pump fuel. Valves melt apparently. Can't afford to risk it atm
  8. No soild stainless steel 304 pipe. Thought it would be fine. Guess not. Might just change it to a screamer pipe. Never worry about it again
  9. Found the problem. Roll pin in v band had partly fallen out. This alooud an exhaust leak in an area where it was unable to find. Bugger. Now when I fix it I will need a retune. Just hoing to fit a screamer pipe instead of plumb back as I think this might be part of the problem too putting extra presure on the clamp.
  10. Only grabbed the 35 as im building a 30 bottom end. Otherwise yes would of stayed with the 3071. The 35r should be able to make full boost by 45 to 4700rpm. That I could live with on a 25 bottom end. This is just ridiculous at 6000rpm. Something is not right.Currently doing investigation to find out why. First thing I'm looking at is the wastegate then I will be having the turbo inspected to see if any problems with it. There is no gas leaks I can see or hear.
  11. Yes there is either a problem with the wastegate or the rear houseing is not a good match for the turbo. Not worried about it for now bit over it gor now. Was advised by so called people on here to go with .82 rear. Wishing I stuck to my guns and put a .63 on it. Leaving it like this till I bolt my forged 3lt bottom end together. I agreed it should be making more power. Will be changing tuners thats for sure.
  12. Either way its going over 400 and everyone knows it. Can't wait to get the full run done to rub it in jealous people's face.
  13. Rb25 neo stage 2 tommi pon cams greeddy inlet hi mount manifold gtx3582r. Thanks for the tips to run a .82 rear waste of time should of gone for the .63. Comes on boost very slow. Full boost by 6000rpm made 394rwhp at 6500rpm dyno cut out so didn't get a full read out. Looks like its heading for 420+rwhp. See dyno photo
  14. Look at where the power curve is going. Straight over 400rwhp. Dyno cuts out. They are getting me back for a power run to have a full graph. This will give you an idea.
  15. Rb25 neo std with bolt ons. Dyno capped itself. Cut out at 394rwhp. You can see by the graph it was going over 400rwhp. It's in a lc gtr torana.
  16. You might find that the engine will go into limp mode shutting down the injectors with the sensor missing. Just had this problem with mine. Had to use stager with deleted TC. Also you can remove the butterfly from the TC as I had done prior to fitting my greeddy manifold.
