  1. Ok. I'm about to fit my new 3025neo to my car. It only gets use maybe once a month and can sit upto six weeks at time and not move. So e85 is out of the question. So the big question is. What is the next best fuel to run.
  2. My25neo made 422rwhp on 18psi with this turbo on pump fuel. Came on full boost around 4500rpm
  3. Just wanted to know what power everyone is making from a gtx3582r on 30/25 engines see people making anywhere from 300 to 600 with gt35 turbos. Most are running e85. I want to know for pump 98. And before you say check the dyno results I already have not much there for GTX 35
  4. Port work on the head and engine assembled you can see the vct external feed on the inlet side of the head. Cams dialled in to tomei specs.
  5. Use a 25neo head. Far better head. Depending on the power and reliability you are after will depend on what work you have to do with it. I just built one 25 30 neo reliable 550rwhp on pump fuel. Everything in the engine is rated for 1200+hp so i know i will never need to upgrade anything for more hp. Cost 20g.
  6. Dialled my cams in yesterday. Type b poncam. Found 0 at tdc. Rotated to 50tho lift cam up exactly at 8 deg atdc as per cam card Did same with exhaust cam but i advanced it 2 deg to bring on boost earlier. Zero position from factory was spot on for cam timing.
  7. Got the head back and fitted it to the bottom end today. Pic's of the port work and external vct feed. Dialed in the cams too with adjustable cams.
  8. By setting up the cam at the correct degrees to the cam card specs you get the full effects of the cam and power from the up grade. I know people normal just play with it on the dyno but if you set it up correctly before you put the car on the dyno there is no reason to adjust the cams on the dyno other than to bring on boost earlier or move the peak hp in the rev range.
  9. Found it. For anyone else who might want it
  10. You need to know when its supposed to open and at what duration 10 40 50 thou and when it closes to dial cam in to optimum settings. Within a few degrees is not optimum settings
  11. What other thread? Also if it's not the type b neo cams then there is no point in it as it's not the correct information and assuming that it is makes it easy to have a stuff up degreein in the cams.
  12. No. Want to know what the specs are for inlet open before tdc when it closes and same for exhaust for bdc.
  13. Has anyone got a full cam specs of the 25 neo type b pon cams. Inlet and exhaust open and close. I know that they are 260 9.15 but want the rest of the cam specs. Thanks in advance
  14. Never had a problem with that department. Car is well setup and I spent most of my upbringing in and around dirt circuit racing.
  15. Like a cut snake on water. With the 25 neo same top end less porting and 18psi boost 422rwhp cold do 0-100 in less than 4.2 seconds. And standing 1/4 in 10.9. Had it up over 235ks on Lakeside raceway. I'm looking to make an extra 100hp at the wheels and a shit load more torque. I hope that the 20g is worth it.
  16. Called into the head shop this arvo. Will have it back by Friday. Then to bolt it on and on set the timing.
  17. Thanks for that. Will get some picks when I get the head back hopefully by the end of the week.
  18. Thought it was 4 deg retarded
  19. I will have mine together in the next few weeks and then back in the car hopefully by the end of the month. Then it will be off to John from Next up performance for run in and tune. We will probably dial in the cams as close as possible without adjustable cam gears. Not a fan of them even tho lots of people use them I won't be as I'm more a set and forget person.
