  1. The info i was after i posted above with layout for where each wire goes to.
  2. Ok spoke with tuner this Morning this is the info he gave me. This is for vi-pec plugin r34gtt. Hopefully it helps out others too.
  3. All good i will call vipec direct and get what I need and then post it for other's.
  4. Link & vipec are the same. Will just call them on Monday. Was hoping to be able to it this weekend thats all.
  5. I know where it plugs into the board just not 100% sure on witch wire goes to what.
  6. Link vi-pec expansion Hi everyone. I have done a few searches on here and Google but am unable to find any diagrams that explain how to wire up the expansion cable for air temp sensor map sensor and wideband can lambda. I'm fairly handy at doing things on engines and wiring so please no negative reply Having said that the simplest diagram for idiots is often the best for everyone for anyone else who is trying to do this down the track. If anyone has or can put up the information i need it would be much appreciated. My ecu is a vi-pec plugin r34gtt and engine is a 25/30 neo in a lc gtr torana. I have build thread on here for engine and i think there is some pics of the car in that thread too. Thank you in advance.
  7. Ok. So I'm about to start installing the vi-pec and expansion cable to run inlet air temp sensor 4 bar map sensor and a wide bane 02 sensor with CAN LAMBDA. All parts are from link g4 so same as vi-pec. But have no dam idea how to wire it all up. I know the vi-pec is a plugin ecu so thats easy. I know where to plug in the expansion cable but have no idea what wire goes to what in reference to the new sensors. Has anyone got a diagram or can tell me what goes where please. Thank you in advance.
  8. Mtq sell Bosch 1000cc and 1250cc injectors for less than $110 each.
  9. I have a 34 nistune setup with the hpx1 afm from nistune. Will be up for sale soon.
  10. Cheers for the feedback vipec it is. Its a 10000+ board so I'm led to believe it will also self tune when cruising around off boost for better fuel economy too.
  11. Well to rephrase what I asked which ECU is better safety wise on saving an engine if something goes wrong. As both have all the functions i will ever need.
  12. I have both setups nistune type 4 hpx1 afm and also have a vipec r34 gtt plug in with all required sensor.
  13. Ecu nistune link vipec It's probably be spoken about before. I'm no wiz when it comes to ecu's . How much difference is there between say a nistune and a link plug in ecu. Is the extra coin really worth it. Is there power to be made more so with the link plug in over the nistune. Engine is built rb30/25 neo gtx3582r on 22 - 24 psi 1000cc injectors on pump fuel.
  14. Oil feed is done and feeds the head no problem at all. Look at pick earlier in this topic. Eater pump yes it did leak at start but soon fixed it no problem at all.
  15. https://www.ngk.com.au/technical_info/modified-and-performance/ Interesting read. The 8 heat range may be better for most engines when pushing over 400rwhp.
  16. I was thinking about those as well. I was going off the NGK id sheet for part numbers and did some net surfing to see what had the best bang for buck. Thats how i came up with the BCPR7EVX. The evx plug is fine wire and for boosted applications. The fine wire alows the ignition system to create a better spark with less power. See attached pic for part number info. Please note that the ix plug is not listed.
  17. Been doing some reading on spark plugs and have come across some from NGK BCPR7EVX come standard Gap at .8 Has anyone used them before
  18. Ok. Im just looking at changing the plugs to run flex fuel and 26psi max boost. I know everyone has different ideas and needs. Was thinking about sticking with the factory iridium plugs gapped at .6 but instead of the 6heat range going to a 7 or maybe an 8 Any tuners want to give me a heads up or point me in a direction.
  19. Just in case warlord fyi bosch do a 1250cc injector too. Found them today while checking out other stuff. mtq sell them $108.9 including gst i might get a set myself just incase i do go flex fuel.
  20. Old school engines are becoming increasingly harder to get. And the power i wanted i will never get from a holden 6
