  1. Hi everyone. Looking at upgrading my injectors from 550cc to 1000 or 1200cc injectors. Have 2 different types available and they both have different ohms they work on. One is 4.5 ohms and the other is 12.5 ohms. Both fith the 25 neo engine. And E85 compatible. Witch ones do I need. Thanks
  2. Diff has 4 pin borg warner conversion so its not an issue. 355 gers will make the car prpell faster but also makes wheel spin easier too. if I exturnal gate the op6 to control the boost in the top end and go e85 I think it will make the power close to what I want.
  3. Or do you think this would be better.http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Garrett-GTX3076R-Dual-Ball-Bearing-Turbo-Ext-Wastegate-A-F0-63-/180912574065?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a1f3ace71&_uhb=1
  4. So this is the turbo you recommend. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-GARRETT-GTX3071R-BALL-BEARING-TURBO-CHARGER-GTX30-GTX30R-GT3071-UPGRADE-/370992006782?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5660d8c67e&_uhb=1
  5. Ok so will need 1000cc injectors and e85 but what turbo
  6. So to get that power I will need 25/30 neo and bigger turbo on pump fuel. Or can I make it with th he 25 neo but will need larger injectors and e85 and bigger turbo
  7. Current set up. 25 neo. head ported stage 1 cams spit fire coil packs 3" exhaust system 100 cel cat dump at diff. 600x300x76 cooler 20 psi on op6 hi flowed by stao 650hp aero flow fuel pump as main 550cc injectors bp 98 with c5 octain booster mixed at 500ml per 30lt fuel. Current problem is boost dropping back from 20 psi to 15 psi at around 5500rpm. Has heavy duty actuator. Still not helping. This set up is making 380hp@rw want to make 450hp@rw. Want to have full boost by 35-3800rpm
  8. Ok so all I need to do is exturnal gate the op6 turbo your saying.
  9. Doesn't the manifold help with flow and spool up?
  10. So 3800rpm full boost I will get the power I want. What turbo would suit best with hi mount and exturnal gate?
  11. Looking for around 350kw@wheels. The hi mount manifold will help spool up and current turbo is an op6 hi flow with steel wheel from Stao. So it shouldn't be running out of puff I would think. Exhaust system is 3 inch from turbo to diff 100 cel cat and straight through muffler.
  12. So what you are saying is I'm better off with a hi mount manifold exturnal gate and say a 3076 or 30 82. Want to have more down low and limit to 6500rpm gear change. Engine is in a lc torana that weighs in at 1000kgs and runs 336.1 diff gears. Current set up full boost is at 3800rpm. Want to bribg it down to around 28-3000rpm. With the exturnal gate I can keep the current 20psi boost and eliminate the current inturnal gate drop off back to 15 psi.
  13. Hi everyone. Was wondering if you can get twin turbo manifold for rb 25 neo engine and if so where from. Was thinking about putting twins on my neo to run smaller turbos to get boost on earlier and be able to have cooler intake charge as a result. Thinking of twin 32 factory turbos running 12 psi each. Will this give me 12psi boost or 24 psi. Not fully undersanding how it works. Correct me if I'm wrong? Thanks
  14. So how much for you and Scotty to do this to my manifold?
  15. Just had a read at that post and noticed that Stato has a external gate set up welded to the factory manifold. Has Scotty tooled up for this mod yet??? i would be very keen to look at this option instead of the gate off the turbo. If so how much to do this mod Scotty?? Manifold external waste gate???
  16. Thats why I was after feedback on this manifold. Not keen on the turbo waste gate set up as the welds can crack and there goes your turbo.
  17. Have looked but couldn't find anything on that manifold. Not really keen to do the wast gate on the turbo.
  18. Hi all. Have been looking at upgrading my factory exhaust manifold so I can run a exturnal gate to control boost better. Currently run factory manifold and factory turbo been hi flowed and steel wheel fitted. Made 358hp@wheels on 21 pound and falls off boost back to 15psi at 5300rpm. So has potential to make well into the 400 mark if I can sort out waste gate. Been looking at this manifold for a few weeks and like the fact that it keeps everything in the std position. Due to the fact I run the engine in a torana there is no room to move anything outwards. Has anyone else used this manifold from Hybird in New Zealand. If so can you please let me know what you think of it. Thanks Dave

  21. Here is the old dyno sheet with 265KW or 355hp@rw 14 psi in top end bleeding back from 18 psi
