  1. 32nb fittings and $2 each from one steel
  2. Did a bit more today. You can see its only root runs cap welds still to be done. You can now see how 6 flows into 5 and 5&6 flow into 4 then the turbo. Same will happen to 12 & 3. Blended inside for smooth flow and no burs.
  3. T3. I have looked at how the pipe will meet each other and have tried to keep all joins away from bends to help flow
  4. Will do when I get off my fat arse and do some more
  5. Looks like it. Just need to keep runners short to maintain heat.
  6. No one has been able to answer my question. Is there any rules to follow with the length of the runners for the exhaust manifold
  7. Thats only the root runs. Cap weld still to be done. I'm a boilermaker by trade. So it helps
  8. I'm making my own murge collecter. 1 will join into 2 then into 3 and the same in reverse for 6 5 and 4. Then 3 and 4 merge together in the collector just before the t3 flange. The waste gate will come off there.
  9. Thanks for that. It is in issue 203 of zoom mag if you want to have a read.
  10. Goes down beside the engine and has a pod filter. Gets cold air directly to it from brake duct at front.
  11. I have the std factory manifold atm. Want to use bigger turbo. So I have to make a custom manifold.
  12. Well I have started to make the manifold. Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right path
  13. Has anyone used one of these. http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/181543403816?nav=SEARCH
  14. Ok. I now have these mods to do. Custom hi mount manifold with exturnal gate. Gtx3071r turbo. 1000cc injector twin 044 pumps head has allready been ported stage 1 pon tom cams 3 inch turbo back exhaust 100 cell cat. 600x300x76 cooler and change to e85. Should get me to where I want to be. . Will I need head studs or anything else.
  15. Can't find the post in rb25 dyno results. Can you post a link
  16. Well I have picked up a gtx3071r. From what I have been informed this turbo won't be able to make the rwhp I want. Spoke with Mike vine turbos in Brisbane. They told me to get the power I want I need a minimum of a gtx3076r or better yet a gtx3582 with .63 rear. Thats on pump fuel. If I change to e85 would it make the power (gtx3071r) that is.
  17. Hi everyone. Looking at making a custom made manifold for my car as the turbo I have has inturnal gate and all off the shelf units won't allow me to use it. Turbo is a gtx3076r inturnal gated. Engine is in a lc torana so not enough room to run std hi mount manifold either. Is there any rules or information on making a manifold. Do the runners have to be certain length?
  18. Looking at upgrading from my hi flowed op6 to the gtx3071r. Or the gtx3076r. Want to make 420 to 450hp@rw. On pump 98
  19. I currently run 20psi with the bp98. I also run c5 booster mix 1 can to 30lt fuel
  20. So what sort of power would one be likely to make with a gtx3076r on a rb25 neo and what sort of rpm would it spool up at?
  21. Ok thanks for that. Was looking at ones directly from the manufacturer. Will only cost me 25 each. Plus post.
