  2. Hi all, the 3 PITA 10mm head bolts, are they needed? I'm asking because when I put my head back on my RB25 I would prefer to not put these back in as they are a pain. Obviously if they serve a useful purpose I'll make the effort to put them back in. Also do they need to be torqued?
  3. It says A/R 67 or possibly A/R 70 from memory.Not sure if it has a Garrett GT30 IW turbine housing on it, don't even know what that is TBH, lol

  7. Hi everyone, all items are still up for grabs. I have or am in the process of removing the whole a/c and power steering system so have pretty much whatever you need, hit me up.
  8. Awesome I will do the cam seals too then! It may have had a new timing belt, the reason I'm replacing it is because the bolt that holds the idler pulley has snapped off.
  9. Water pump was only done in 2010/2011 so should be sweet? I'm getting new bolts as the one for idle pulley completely snapped, hence why I'm doing this unfortunately. I'm getting genuine Nissan timing/cam belt then getting nsk idle and tensioner pulleys as the genuine idle pulley is ridiculously expensive! I'll need to look into the cam seals as I have never changed them before and I've never even heard of them lol (i'm a real novice). Any advice or link to how to do them? Thanks for all the great help so far!
  10. Hi all, I'm looking around for a timing belt kit for S2 RB25DET. I'm just wondering if there are differences between S1 and S2 RB25 timing belt kits and will RB26 and RB20 timing belt kits fit. By timing belt kit I mean timing belt, tensioner pulley and idle pulley.
  11. Hi all started removing the power steering and air com from my 32GTST air com needed regassing but aside from that all power steering and a/c worked fine. Pretty much all bits from power steering (except rack) and a/c are for sale. $100 for p/s pump, $100 for a/c compressor and the condenser, $70 for climate control unit out of the dash. inbox or Call or SMS 0428112012 if ur chasing something else from the p/steering or a/c system. Located western Sydney will post if need be, parts are heavy though.

  15. The idler completely snapped off. The engine stil spins fine, turns over no worries.
  16. I pulled shit apart last night and found it was the timing belt guide on the passenger side that broke. Hopefully it hasn't caused other damage. Cheers
  17. Lol I knew it was a long shot but thought it was worth a try. I thought at first a broken rod or valve but the engine should still run on 5 cylinders
  18. Hi all, I stalled my car while reversing, now it won't start. It keeps turning but won't actually start, plus it's got a knock/clunk coming from the front of the motor now (it didn't before). Any idea what it could be? Don't want to trailer it home and strip it down if it's a simple fix (doesn't sound good though) Thanks in advance
  19. I ended up going to a spare parts place n got a 2nd hand one for $120, 30 day warranty and looks like it's in good condition
  20. Hi guys, my steering rack has had it so I'm looking for a replacement. Is there aftermarket racks available that are pretty much a straight bolt up? Looking for something with less turns end to end, and with more lock. Or am i just better off getting a standard rack and putting in some lock spacers? Cheers
