i have a clunking sound too... its a very light and not too deep. similar conditions to yours, mine can only be heard during slow turns or slowly applything the throttle. BUT - i think i have a standard LSD, i have spoken to my mates and they have heard it too.. they reckon its NOT the diff, and more possibly the exhaust (stock) which may have worked itself loose or something. I notice no difference in how the car handles however... does this sound like your problem? i'd be interested to hear what others think?

ben has some serious obession with pink skylines of late.

pads and good fluid should do it i reckon.. although these cars are built for street - they are better than the average street car. if u are doing serious track work then MAYBE u might wanna consider rotor upgrade... but if its for fun - why not... GTR - gran turismo racing.

hmm... 250-300 to the tank is quite poor.. specially in a 2L car... I wud recommend maybe try resetting the ECU? (there are threads - try a search) clean the afm? but yeah a dyno sounds like a good idea and will save u from mucking around - check the AFRs and see how it goes. keep us updated man.

hicas isnt really considered a good thing - thats why they sell hicas lock bars. hicas helps for normal street use, by reducing the turning circle especially around round-abouts, etc. but for track work and serious enthusiasts - hicas is actually quite slow to respond to the driver's actions... you wouldn't like to be driving at 100km/hr and have no control over how the rear wheels turn even if it is only 0.1º (or however much they turn) Greg: thnx for that i didnt know R34 25GT's had 5 studs... something new everyday

yup.. i also needed a torque gun to get the fronts installed. depends what you want to set ur car up for? track? drift? drag? street? from the looks of things you are setting the car up for track... - pineapples? - camber kit? - castor arms? and i guess that will be a pretty sweet setup already.

RB25DET = turbo RB25DE = non turbo by checking the engine model - do you mean the sticker? or is it actually printed on the engine? if the sticker is under the bonnet - bonnet may have been changed? (crash? etc) all 34s should carry neo spec engines... is your car 4 stud? do you have a boost gauge? and does you car have a turbo?
