well sort of, its stagezilla, and i got banned recently for warning others of a shop in Perth that ive had alot of trouble with, and i didnt even mention the name at all, so i dont know where i broke the rule B) but anyway, ill be reading the forums from now on but im sick of posting and it ending in a shit fight, or people saying im taking for ever or whatever with my build (thanks to a 6 month wait for machining alone)

anyone who wants to ask a question or whatever can PM me personally, or send me an email to [email protected].

im sick of getting made to look like the arsehole, when i am trying to help other users.

arhh welll end of rant

Brad

Its nice to have you back...you gave some good advice which i will be referring too...now that i am looking at buying a stagea ;)

I think a lot of the ppl on here have lots of different thoughts and opinions and thats why it always gets into a shit fit cause ppl get offended if you dont like what they say...anywayz good luck with the car...keep us up to date...cant wait to see it on the roads of Perth. ;)

Brad best of luck to you mate.... public forums can be jekil/hyde as such; ie great for info sharing but you get into shitfights with people having differing views. Read the SA thread "friday night cruise" to see what I mean. =)

And anyway, why rush the build of your Stag, the most fun is in the actual building of the project, not the end result (lets face it, the mods never end!), so stuff what people say about Your ride and how You are doing it.

=P

thanks mate, i dont think the best bit is building it, because its been 12 months of building and 2 weeks of driving, maybe 50/50 split would be abit better. :P

cheers for the support guys and girls, i will post answering people questions but im not posting about my car and its progress anymore, u will all hear when i have it finished, because i wouldnt want to be bragging to everyone. B)

ive got a new idea for an engine conversion into the stagea in the future, because the 26 will be going into a lighter car after a while of running it in the stagea. (180sx, or r32 gtr maybe track car/drifter).

but thats for me to know and u's to find out one day ;)

theres one engine that would be very suited to the stageas weight, and im planning on it being a daily driver when the 26 goes into something else.

nissan v8 with very basic mods ( keep it n/a, and maybe Auto or manual depending on what gearboxes can be fitted)

i will convert it to rwd only also to make it 100 times easier

now that would be pimpin with nice v8 exhuast note, and plenty of torque to move the 1800kg monster haha

    • Robertson was a Canadian inventor, and it absolutely reigns supreme here. 95% of our screws are Roberston. It's literally the only option you can buy off store shelves. What would it have lost out too? I believe it's also very popular in the US.  My reference to imperial was pointed to both NPT and BSP.
    • No. BSP lost to the cultural/technical imperialism of living next to Trumpistan. Face it, Robertson screws were better and still pretty much lost out to the yank stuff. The Europeans hate the Brits and they don't use NPT. NPT is just as "imperial" as BSP is, being based on those useless inch thingos. Just done differently.
    • I live in Quebec. Our license plate slogan is "Je me souviens" Translated is "We will remember" as a reminder to when England conquered us and that we must never forget what they did. Long story short, BSP is unheard of here due to being an English design. I'm surprised our nazi anti english government office the OQLF hasn't kicked in my door yet just talking about it, yet alone imperial anything.
    • Thanks for that! I did a quick Google search looked up some of hydaulic stores and didn't see it listed on the website, I'll give them a ring. Also found out later that I can buy 2 oem bleeder bolts for 10 bux and come with the washer which I might do so I don't waste the money it costs in petrol to find 2 washers (already did that lol). The old copper washes look in good nick, I drove it after taking it off and putting it back on and didn't see any  Part number here for reference if anyone needs: 14053-42L0A
