if you are using the 400wrms item look at a VPA11500.thats a 1500w monoblock.

also the 80% off retail. I think not.

Gee umm.... My apoligies about the price. And yes, I will be going for that amp, just been added to my contract :(

what would you like to know about the brand.( I sell the complete line.) also did you chat with the dealer or the manufacturer?

the screen you mention hasn't been released yet. I'm waiting on one currently.

I'm going through the manufacturer in America. They offered the screen to me... So maybe its been released in the US?

All I wanted to know is if the gear I have mentioned (with the edition of the new amps) would be enough to crack late 140db's? (with proper sound deadening as well)

Monoblock amplifier with 3000 Watts max power and 1500 Watt RMS

Max. Power@4 ohms 1x3000 watts

Max. Power@2 ohms 1x 4500 watts

RMS Power@4 ohms 1x 1500 watts

RMS Power@2 ohms 1x 2200 watts

VPA 11500 great amp hasn't let me down.....

With the gear you have you should have no problem cracking 140db's

Once you've tried the head deck especially if it is there new dvd navigation head deck can you get back to me on performance only thing that really worries me is the 50Wx4 power of the unit there is alot of higher powered head decks out there.

AMS,

could you fire me a PM with whom you are dealing with. there's a blau dealer in tamworth currently so why bypass them.

after talking to the regional manager of SE aisa in melbourne(who had a chat to the US manager) he says that there is not currently a sponsorship program going nor vehicles being sponsored.

NEO,

the screen/DVD he's mentioned isnt the aspen ( the only ones available are prototypes and these are still in testing.). could be a chicago. to answer your question on power - the chicago does 26wrms /ch and hammers . still better to use an amplifier on them.

VPA 11500 is great isn't it! used one on a set of VPW300s on a slightly tuned box in a hatch and broke 152.

so 140 on the proposed setup is definitley doable.

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
