I think that's true for a lot of new performance cars. Just have to watch them being lapped at the 'ring to see how many start squealing about engine or trans temp by the time they get to the climb out of Breidscheid. -
nah, I'd heard the same, they are not doing well with heat management for track use; they are a street use only thing (sure high power, but not high power over a sustained period) -
Really? I assumed the MKV Supra was almost completely bulletproof with some mods to the ZF8 to hold the power? Shift kits and tunes etc. I can't imagine it'd be much different in any other application? Would be curious to read more about it. -

I haven't yet, but the fuel filter has only 2 months of usage on it (1800kms at most). But considering how the new injectors got very dirty in 3 days, I can only imagine what's inside the filter right now. -
meh, buying a car is an emotional choice, the car makers started it and we all hooked onto it. But yes, people don't know what they are getting themselves in for buying an old car with all their available budget, then finding out that was only the start of the spending
