I have sold my car so i now have no need for this turbo which i purchased last year.

The Turbo is an HKS T3G, which is what HKS now call the 25-30.

I am pretty sure it 350hp,(So good for 200-230rwkw)

It is based on the Garrett T28, as most of the HKS bolt on range are. (oil and water cooled)

Turbo has been freshly rebuilt, and has not been used since rebuild.

Lines and fittings are included, including a 3" Dump pipe, Braided oil line, water line banjoe bolts and the oil return line, with gasket, fittings and bolts.

So basically everything needed to bolt this turbo straight up to an rb20-25.

Im am asking 1100ono and would preffer a Melbourne buyer,

Thanks

I gaurantee it has not been rubbing on the housing, Has not been used since rebuild and balance...

It is the light in the picture reflecting of some blades but not the others,

The black stuff on them is a bit of residue off the tape i have covering the housing. Part cleaner, or the turbo in action will blast that right off...

Yeah, I think you'll find the shaved section - or the bit on the wheel that looks like it has been rubbing - is actually the balancing marks. They shave tiny amounts off the turbine wheels to make sure they are properly balanced - this is perfectly normal.

Where abouts are you located?

    • Haha no I'll do that one tomorrow. I've been ignoring it. It's the 5.0 one I'm taking about. (There is a little X to hide the 4.7 one if you want)
    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
