If it weren't my need for upstream speed and the inability to get cable I would go cable over adsl, it does cost a bit more but I would have to weigh that up at the time. Chances are I would stick with ADSL2. :P

It will be at the same rate in a couple of months as I'll be ~500m away from a node adsl2 enabled exchange. :D

Fingers crossed my guesstimate of where the cable runs is correct and I'm not stuck being 4.3km's away again with only 5mb/s. :P

Im only with telstra as I have a bundled package and get a small discount.

* Foxtel for the kiddies and wife

* Mobile phone $10 with same call credits for the wife (effectivly cost nuetral)

* Home phone

* Broadband for me :P

I was putting it all on FBT here at work but took it away from myself (trying to get a payrise, somehow, lol), so come end of contract I'll be switching to 'Node for their adsl2 service I suppose.

How times change -, it was not so long ago 5 megabit connections were only a dream in SA, and now people will complain if that's all the speed they can get!

using limited resources to satisfy unlimited wants.....

web designers starting to use more and more flash meterial which starts to load cpu and inscrease the sizes of pages so its at an acceptable level for adsl2 people only... 56k is almost completely redundant. thus people wanting faster and faster connections all the time... it used to be a an uncommon sight to see something that was >40 megabytes that was a nessesity for something to be downloaded on the web. now you get game demos and patches and files and applications in the 500>3gig range being downloaded all the time.

Was built to keep, but lifestyle changes (loss of kneecap) dictate that I cant ride again, hence it has to go. Can negotiate on price to a certain extent; bear in mind the 10g's of performance mods tho

Unfortunately there is no computer involved (carbies FTW!!11!!), so I cant really say that this post is in the correct section, LOL.... plz excuse me Mr Demon-Moderator (although I did buy a lot of parts for the bike off ebay, hehehe)

Ive got a g5 and its a bit of a pain sometimes if you play a bit of extended gaming...like bf2.

I tend to grip the mouse with me thumb on the left side, and the ring finger (right hand) on the right side of the mouse to lift / use it. The moulding on the right side of the mouse hurts a little after a while. Try hold it yourself, see if it does the same, or try a razer mouse...

ahh ok, good information.

Im after the G5 for the 2000dpi (adjustability) and for the extra buttons (for use with BF2 for quick prone, crouch action etc)

The lads in my clan rave over it www.unitedforcesworld.com

Id recommend staying away from wireless unless u have to. Soo many things to go wrong, or dropouts, charge the damn things etc...Me mate had 1 die logitech too...

G5 is a great mouse to adjust the res with. I can use it in windows to scroll faster across the screen (20" widescreen) which is a pain for a big window :unsure:

i might have to look into setting the quick prone up with the side button :yes:

Either G5 or the razer series would be my top choices..

Ive just gotten back into playing some bf2 after not being on for a while...just juggling that and trying to learn how to play the guitar in the meantime :huh:

      GTSboy, thank you again. i’ve been reading all the other SAU RB25 vacuum line threads and you have the utmost patience for people asking “where do my vacuum lines go”. it’s appreciated. i did also enlist a few other RB guys local to me.  i would like to run 5 to 4. turbo pressure side to wastegate actuator. i would like to run 3 to 1. power steering air valve line to intercooler outlet. (this is how it was previously). i was told 2 is the bleed port for the boost solenoid - which i’m not running - so should be capped.   anyone see any problems with that?

      So yes. All of them. Something like 98% of all fuel in the USA has 10% ethanol: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethanol-fuel-basics It's labelled as like, AKI, 87, 91, 93 with an E10 or E5 or E15 label on the pump. At a certain point, it's not just "E10" instead of 91. It is 91, 95, 98, and all of them have 10% Ethanol in them. You can also get E85 and E30 which is why you do see some people rolling around with E30 tunes in them.

      Thanks for the response. This is an 04 EP3 Type R. JDM spec. Fairly certain they're just basic BC racing coils. I do plan to keep as the ride quality on stock I've been told is pretty meh given Sydney roads. If I were to go down that avenue, does NSW require them to be a certain spec (close to original) etc?

      I've had two super conflicting experiences with blue slips. My 30 year old E39 waltzed through with no issues but my brother in law was knocked back on 12 y/o 3 series due to wiper blades and some cracking in a control arm bush.  What kind of coil overs? Do you want to keep them after?  If it was me I'd get some dirt cheap shocks and springs from eBay or scumtree. Not ideal but will get you over the line and might even be less than $1k.
