welcome to teh interwebs boys.

My personal opinion = waste of time buying consoles for gaming.

Computer for me always.

lol x2 cant agree more

but the console if good for when a couple of mates come over you got the Gran Tarismo few drinks under your belt and eveyones a race car driver

haha no it won't.

Metal gear is set for March next year. Why would sony release probably the two biggest franchises newest games at the same time lol.

Also masively avaible and worthwile? what are you on about?

Because Sony dont release them. and from past history, they have always seemed to be released around the same times, i mean... Gran Turismo is in its 4th intallment, and so will Metal Gear be in its 4th installment.

They will be released within 1 month of eachother is my prediction.

To answer your question Kralster, to make more money.

You'll have Grant Turismo edition PS3 console packages, and Metal Gear Solid 4 ones and etc. As it has happened in the past with the Playstation.

And Steve, the Cell processor is more advanced than Intel's Core 2. IBM plans a comeback with using it in its future computers and laptops, not sure if itll run Windows though.

So you've gone from saying released at the same time to a month after each other. I agree a month later for one of the titles would be a good idea. But i don't see the next gran turismo being finished until late next year at the earliest.

Gran Turismo - May 1998

Metal Gear Solid Febuary 99 (9 months later)

Gran Turismo 2 - October 2000

Metal Gear Solid 2 March 2002 (17 months later)

Gran Turismo 3 - July 2001

Metal Gear Solid 3 - March 2005 (over 4 years later)

Gran Turismo 4 - March 2005

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Still TBC but March 2008 current release schedule (over 3 years)

I don't see how in past history they have been close to each other.

well if ur going by those dates and look more at the japanese release ones NTSC i think they are much much closer.

Same time I meant more around the same quarter. I can see GT5 being released around June next year.

Now your saying June next year. Before you were saying the same time a MGS4, than about a month later, now 3 months later.

And the release dates for those games in japan were also with about the same distance between them.

Also playstation 1 and 2 consoles have only ever been bundled with first party sony titles. There may of been soft bundles with games from 3rd party developers, but never in the same box.

Anyways.

What do you think of quake wars Madaz?

I don't mind it myself, not what it was hyped up to be but then again, what is these days?

dont hate it prefer GRAW2 though i like the more realistic looking skins than set in the future

im a little excited over COD4 not being WW2 shooter that might be one to watch out for

    • If they can dyno them, get them dyno'd, make sure they're not leaking, and if they look okay on the dyno and are performing relatively well, put them in the car.   If they're leaking oil etc, and you feel so inclined, open them up yourself and see what you can do to fix it. The main thing you're trying to do is replace the parts that perish, like seals. You're not attempting to change the valving. You might even be able to find somewhere that has the Tein parts/rebuild kit if you dig hard.
    • Can you also make sure the invoices on the box (And none exist in the boxes) are below our import duty limits... I jest, there's nothing I need to actually purchase and order in. (Unless you can find me a rear diff carrier, brand new, for stupidly cheap, that is for a Toyota Landcruiser, HZJ105R GXL, 2000 year model...)
    • Murphy strikes again! Nothing at all would have gone wrong if you had the tool kit in the car! You'd have just found the clamp loose the next time you went to touch it...
    • I have been being VERY quiet about what you're alluding to, as it is something that ticks me off... The number of cars from factory that run coil overs is HUGE! Most of them these days do... The other part that annoys me, is people saying "Well all the incabin adjustable suspension is illegal by blah blah blah"... If that's the case, then why can I buy a car brand new that can do it if, FULL STOP in cabin adjustable suspension is illegal...   Also, I could just chuck some aftermarket shocks in my car, throw the stock springs on, after my blue slip, dump my super low springs back in. Same shock and spring style setup... Hell, they could also be the same colour springs etc.     I'm voting, BlueSlipper didn't want to touch the above car for some reason. Whether it be some sort of bias against the car, the owner, them maybe having previously done dodgy shit and now they're being super careful in case they get slapped in the face by the Gumbyment again... Find a new blueslip place.   And can confirm as you had said, yes there are holy bibles of vehicle heights, and all sorts of other suspension stuff. Heck your run of the mill mechanic, and tyre shop has access to all of that stuff. It's how they do wheel alignments...
    • Funny story Heading to Sydney this morning on the HWY there was some slow traffic, so I gave it the beans and midway through my overtaking "power run" I lost all power It seems that I missed a hose clamp,  and the MAF and filter went WiFi To make this more problematic, the little tool kit that lives in the boot, is sitting in the sun room at Goulburn......LOL Luckily for me I found a bit of steel on the side of the road that could be used like a rusty and bent flat head screw driver to tighten it up enough that it got me into Sydney, it is now all tight like a tiger with the aid of a 8mm socket Note to self: Use my brain and double check stuff, and always keep that little tool kit in the car for when I have a brain fart
