yeah I have just finished installing Windows 7 and it looks very good for a Beta. I am just wondering though - exactly how is it different to Vista? I have found very few differences except for its speed and stability.

hey i hav live for speed s2 and i am wondering how to make the cars sound good like i hav watched it on youtube and ther are some pretty tuff sounding cars on ther, they use patches or some sh*t i dont kno. I am not very computer smart at all (as u can prob tell lol) so i was wondering if any knos how to do it or could help me cheers jarad

Bishop you can do it with a program called LFSTweak, it lets you change then engines to anything from 4 cylinders to turbocharged V12s, can change tyre size and all sorts, some engines sound f**king gay but some sound awesome, the program only works with the latest version of LFS however.

Another way is to use CSR like they did in the video, this program is harder to use and I don't know if its supported any more, however its worth a shot http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=12863

Have a browse around on the LFS forum in the addons section, theres a few mods that allow you to change the blow off valve etc as well.

Its rolls, matts friend btw, if you get stuck hit me up on msn [email protected] catcha

Also, has anyone else got a Wii? I bought Wii Fit for the missus for Xmas (I wasn't being rude - she requested it) and just got a game called Family Ski. Being a snow skier it is a very realistic and highly entertaining game! Thoroughly recommended.

So many people in various forums bag Wii Fit as boring and not worth it, but I have been enjoying it since Xmas - an effective way to get off my ass and do some exercise and have a bit of fun while doing it. I have had many 1.5 hour sessions where I can feel afterward that I have had a decent workout (some of the exercises are absolutely brutal) yet the time flew and was fun. Bizarre - I never though I would get into it - but I have used it much more than Carolyn at this point (but I need to whereas she doesn't lol). I have noticed my fitness and coordination has improved in the short time I have had it, so that is encouraging.

    • My thought is if you were just moving it forward and the upstream geometry remained the same, then no difference at all. But because the current one has the filter direct into the AFM inlet, you effectively have the best chance of a completely symmetric air flow profile upstream, and in, the AFM, whilst the aftermarket inlet thingo has a (small, to be sure) bend between the filter and the AFM. That would bias the flow to the outside of the bend (downstream of the bend) which might well reduce the size of the signal seen by the AFM, for the same total flow rate. Having said that: If you're proposing to make your inlet look like a hybrid of your existing one and the aftermarket one, such that there is no bend where the filter is clamped on... then I say it will be just fine. If there is going to be such a bend, then, if you can align the insertion of the AFM blade such that it is at right angles to the plane of the bend, then there is a better than even chance that the centreline velocity where the blade is will remain more or less the same, and the velocity will just be a little faster to the outside of that, and just a little slower to the inside. **This is not professional investment advice and you should consult a suitably qualified ouija board, tea leaves or the intestines of a goat for more accurate prognostication.
    • Hi Tao, Thanks for your reply.  It's been a while and I managed to get the valve stem seals replaced with the head on the car.  Unfortunately this didn't solve my issue, the car still smokes a lot after idling (to be honest during idle you can see a bit of blue smoke from the exhaust), same after deceleration. I will try disconnecting the valve cover breathers, do I leave the PCV valve in? By engine oil drain pipe, do you mean the turbo oil drain?
    • What about if you just give it direct 12v and earth?
    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
