Speaking of Alienware, I like that they are owned by Dell. Dell tech support just works as in they give you a new replacement computer if you ask hard enough if issues arise.

+1 Madaz, I’m with you on that one even though I have an original 60GB PS3 sitting downstairs connected to my Bravia. Use it more as a Blu Ray player and a media streamer than a games console.

i liked my ps3 so much i upgraded mine to a 250gb one and sold my 80gb one for 200bux to my mate.

got mine hook up to a 50" plasma and yamaha home theatre and use it with play tv. its awsome!

also have an shit box 360 somewhere but it just doesnt compare

i have a quad core CPU in our media center and a 1gb 4850 gfx card that's hooked up to a 40" Sony TV and 7.1 channel surround sound with a G26 wheel combo :woot:

Gets that yellow light apon start up. Anyone on here to system flushs or anything to fix it or know of a place where I can get it done?

even if youve had it for awhile and tell them and they will let you know what they can do for you.

might have to send it to them and they fix it or replace it or might charge you to fix it. got mine done for free because i was a real prick on the phone haha

Yep ring up Playstation direct, not Sony. Mine is there atm, was $250 to fix including postage.

A mate of mine had his PS3 do the same thing back in May and then a day later his Bravia LCD TV just wouldn’t turn on. He called up Sony Australia and told them straight out he wants a replacement TV and PS3 as both units were less than a year old and it was unacceptable for this to happen (this was said nicely of course ). They agreed straight away with no fuss and a week later a brand new PS3 and TV arrived at no cost to him. If your PS3 isn’t too old I would think you shouldn’t have any issue with getting a replacement.
