all depends on usage and whats enabled

for me i disable bluetooth and leave GPS and wifi off when im at work

i can take the phone off charger when i get to work @ 6:45am have the phone automatically check for emails every 10mins play some games at smoko and lunch plus checking emails and make it home with a little bit left @ 4:20pm

what battery life are people getting with there htc/android?

Depends on the phone, usage, etc. With mine, I'll get about 1+1/2 days with pretty heavy usage, Wifi, etc. Can stretch it to 2 if I don't use it too often. I charge every night anyways so it doesn't bother me. Unfortunately the days of getting 5 days out of a full charge is long gone and left behind with the old 3315 Nokia's. However what these phones do these days it's not surprising battery life isn't the same

lol Dion cause i saw edit i wont spank ;)

agreed Luke i use mine like a micro computer when im away from my desktop this is my palm pc

with Android and the use of Team Viewer i can control any of the PC's in my My Partners list

edit: I'm just being a dick now.

My iPhone 4 lasts about the same, 1 day with heavy usage, 2 days without.

No surprises, most modern day smart phones have around the same usage. Unfortunately battery technology has remained relatively stagnant over the years in comparison

yeh sweet, i get a full day of heavy usage with full screen brightness.

gotta say you would think battery technology would improve.

Rooting the phone, installing a custom ROM and a modified kernel will give you better usage, how much exactly I'm unsure but there's gains to be had

I've got my email set up to 'push', so it doesn't check it on it's own, but I get it as my email account receives it.

Sounds like it may be a network issue Damo, my phone is fast on the net pretty much everywhere.

Edit: Just ask the people at Kadina who stole my phone and were watching Redtube on it LOL.

    • Welllll..... some of the Preludes, particularly this one Sort of kinda mimicked the long-nose-short-deck-Mustang/Skyline profile anyway. That one ^ kinda like R34. The other more curvy Prelude kinda like the R33. Integras had a little of that going on also. So, it's not totally surprising to me that their designers have gravitated to a similar profile to more "modern" (ha! 20 year old!!) Nissan coupes. Of course, they could have just stolen the V/Z platform anyway, per your suggestion. I am, otherwise, similarly unimpressed. Those venty things at the bottom of the front guard/door reek of Tiburon, which is not a place any designer would want to be.
    • I’m an automotive photographer based in Sydney, but just dropping this here in case anyone else from NSW is looking. I’ve been photographing cars for more than 10 years, working with private owners, collectors, dealerships, and brands. You can check out my work here: carphotographers.com.au Would definitely recommend finding someone local in Melbourne who understands how to shoot Skylines properly — the angles and light really make a difference. If you ever drive up this way, happy to shoot it for you.
    • Looks like the brief relationship between Honda and Nissan resulted in Honda stealing the Z profile designs.  I'm not a fan at all. 👎🏻   https://www.autoblog.com/news/seeing-the-new-honda-prelude-up-close-reveals-its-retro-magic
