Hi guys - I've got my R34 on the way and need to take it back to stock for compliance. Needs some stock rims for R34 GT-t 2 door, and a factory exhaust for the same.

Cheers

Kristian

I dont have my stock rims anymore, but your welcome to borrow my exhaust. Can take it as long as you want :teehee:

Iceduck owns a spare set of R34GTT wheels (I still have the centre caps for them in fact) - fire him a PM. I think Nozila has them at the moment - unless they are on Iceduck's R34 to go to Regency.

Also, Trev from Four Brothers Imports has a set on a black R32 in his yard at Clearview. I think he might hire them out for a modest fee?

yeah Sean - I have had them in the boot since the Barossa cruise (I thought you were coming to that). What are you up to tomorrow? I have the arvo off work. Might give you a ring.

Hey, if u need the rims, just give nozilla a pm, I'm cool for you to borrow them, I got through regency on with my work wheels.. As long as you return them in a timely fashion....not to mention any names.. **cough** (andrew)...

Oh btw I only got tread on 2 of them, funny that considering I lent them out with 4 tyres.. but yeah I think you have to buy new tyres anyways..

Hey Andrew... can can you give the centre caps to nozilla.

Cheers

Thanks Iceduck - will be in touch soon. Yeah I will be getting new tyres for it anyway. Just need them for the inspection (it's a test car) then to go through Regency. I've got AVS 17s you can borrow while I can borrow yours if you need them. (See avatar pic)

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
