I have a R34 with 3'' turbo back exhaust, intercooler and CAI. I just got myself a AVC-R. Can the Neo turbo's handle the same amount of boost as the R33 units? I've been researching and about the max is around .8, .9 bar. I only run quick spirited runs from the traffic lights. Would my fuel system be adequate enough or will it start to lean out? What is the fuel cut set at on the R34's?

1. yes

2. My opinion is 12 psi on the street, 10psi on the track. Some say otherwise but that is a fairly middleground answer.

3. No problems.

4. It's not fuel cut, the ECU starts running filthy rich and retards the timing (search for rich+retard for more info). It seems to cut in lower for some people than others but 12psi will put you up close enough to it and that's all you want to ask of your turbo so that will do.

Thanks. I'm thinking of geting power fc, fuel pump, pressure regulator and some cam gears. Since it wont be leaning, there's relli no point upgrading the fuel system yet huh? Is there going to be much more gains with the fc and cam gears tuned on the dyno? Or shud I wait and get bigger turbo and injectors further down the track?

Don't bother with the cam gears, they have been shown to not be worth it for NEO's.

I guess you mean no need to upgrade the injectors with stock turbo in which case you are correct but the rest is necessary. Injectors come with bigger turbo.
