\>sl33kLine</
Hey guys, I've been hit with one of the most common problems with R33's SQUEAKY BREAKS!! It is the most annoying thing ever! If it was just a squeak maybe i could turn a blind eye but these breaks howl and scream. So, I've got new pads to go in and now Im looking for new rotors and have been given a price of $260 each. Now I know I have an import but it still seems kinda high. Does anyone know where the best place would be to get them and what rotors to get? I'd appreciate any feed back if anyone can get them for a better price. Cheers, -Dave. Craved
have you thought about machining them if they are still within legal specs? costs about $40 and then put new pads on.. save your cash for now, til you can find this better price.. \>sl33kLine</
Tried machining the discs but still squeaking like crazy, so I've been told by a guy from DBA to buy new pads and Rotors and that should fix the problem. S13Deviat
Dave not sure where ur getting that quote of $260+ per rotor...bit steep, but below is a link to a dude on these forums selling DBA Slotted rotors. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=90756 U obviously need to be looking @ the below dimensions. R33 GTST (RB25DET) Front (296mmx30mm) - $200.00each Rear (297mmx18mm) - $195.00each As for Just Jap, they are selling standard 5 stud rotors for $100+ each. I know the R32 5 stud rotor is $99 but its a smaller rotor 280mmx30mm Hope it helps Ando Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/114447-where-to-buy-new-rotors/#findComment-2108882 Share on other sites
