Guys I currently have my engine apart and it looks like it will need to be rehoned and new rings (I ge the report back tomorrow).

Now it currently has the following in it:

Wisco Oversized forged pistons

A Mark Ashford hand made crank

the oil pick up increased

ARP studs

New Bearings

Oversized Valves and Springs to match

the head has been ported (knife edge) and polished

Now comes the question:

I have standard rods that have been shot peened and nitrated as was wondering if I get them cryogened or would buying forged oned be better??

Also is doing my block going to be worth it considering it isn't a brand new block but it will be freshly honed?

I am looking at eventually trying to push about 700rwhp out of it (this maybe achived by a small shot of nitrous but i am trying really hard not to) I am trying to get it as reliable as possible.
