Thank ORGANIZERS,

A great day at Bribie................Except for a couple of people that needed to drive up and down the Street. We eventually had a visit............But overall a very pleasant day.....if it was possible more short day trips would be good......ever thought about Morgan Park at Warwick????

regards & best wishes

i think generally it was a pretty succesful cruise. it was cool seeing so many skylines together. i left not long after we arrived at our destination, obviously before people started hooning in the street. not trying to be critical or even controversal but i think the issue with people attracting the police was that there was a very wide range of age groups on the cruise. I'm only 20 so im still young and i thought the part of the cruise where we were actually driving was great but i have too short of an attention span to sit down on deserted park & eat a sausage. So i took it upon myself to meet up with some another skyline and an fto to go driving through the glass house mountains tourist drive, which was awesome. the corners straights & hills gave u the opportunity to really push your driving skills to the limit. by the sounds of it the younger drivers had the desire to actually drive on a cruise so ignorance took the better of them and they did it in an inappropriate place. It's your club & your cruise and i dont want to be intrusive but maybe it could be taken into consideration once we reach our destination as a big family of skylines people could split up into two groups. the ones that just want to sit and look at the scenary and the ones who want to drive.

Dammmit to hell...

I spent hours the weekend before cleaning the car finally after sitting in the workshop.....and what happens...I get friggin sick...

I am so pissed I missed this, Mud please make another one and I will be there even if on my death bed...I might even let the missus drive....well maybe not...

Great photos people and to those that think acting like a tool is cool...sell your skyline and go and by a commie

yeah yeah yeah,

if ya wanna do that sort of thing thats fine, but we aint doing it as a group of 35+ cars.

as it was we lost 1/3 of the group just driving on the highway  not to mention what would happen if some one got a little bit out of shape and ploughed off the road or into another line (both of which have happened before) not pretty.

Damn!! Who is the old guy cooking on the baby weber!!! Needs to stop eating the sausages and do some exercise!!
Hey he played a good game of touch though...not quite as agile as he was...apparently...but still played a good game...lead the team to a victory and on such a small field as well. And those sausages were good too....i had too many, made me feel sick while playing touch.

Lol @ Rhinorebel's pic... like a tiger? :(

We have these pics in 6 megapixel size (~3000x2000) so as Karen said, if you'd like a high res shot sent to you, keeping in mind that they're 2-4MB each, let us know.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
