just a quick Q n A

Ive been trying to find insurance for a gtst33, full comp

im a rating 3 and 21 yrs old.. so far the only place has been just cars...

anyone know anywhere that'll insure skylines for a guy my age?

if so then most likely no, u will find out that most people with imports are with justcars

other insurance agencies dont really want anything to do with young import drivers

give vigils are call. my mate got his 180 insured with them. no harm in giving them a try

im going justcar for $1080, im 24 and rating 1

i haven't tried shannons but i don't think they can beat that..

I'm 25, rating 1 and shannons beat my Just cars quote

he works for shannons and he's ACE send him your name/number and he'll ring you and give you a quote (he doesnt have a direct line)..

If you already have a current policy it's also definately worth asking him to take a look at it.

suprisingly, justcars has been quite good - i have to pay 1091 a year (but then again im 24 and on rating 1)

When i was 21 and also rating 3 just cars quoted me $1700 for my R32 gtst - they were the best around, noone would match that price. But i live in a pretty safe suburb and have never had a fine or anything..

The next year it went down to $1200 and this year it was $900 at rating 1.

www.racv.com.au - not really known to insure imports but sometimes they do.

www.famousinsurance.com.au - come highly recommended and when the club is up and can match most other quotes you will get

www.justcarinsurance.com.au/info.asp - not too bad... can be a bit high for the younger drivers among us

www.youngandcool.com.au - pretty much similar to Just Cars

I've done some looking round as I'm due to renew - Offers were....

Just Cars $1089 @ Rating 1 with around $1600 excess- Cheapest by far but killer excess if you need to claim, but they are the most likley to cover you

Vigil $1900 @ rating 1, $500 excess- More expensive but lower excess

Shannons $1500ish @ ratign 1, $500 excess - About the same as Vigil but better priced. They may not cover you though

Try rining famous too, they insured me once apon a time.
