is ur bitch (marc) going to be the one doing that? i can see him doing it hehe

u know what u shoulda done, just walk out without paying :(

ummm you sure you wanna know that shane :(

well he didnt say his legs are sore or anything like that *shrugs*

2 days...is that all? :P

how much of that time is actually washing/waxing though?

flat out for both days lol...but that does include wash, coat of paint cleaner, coat of polish, coat of synthetic wax & a coat of natural wax

yep they certainly are, and the back is usually shot too...i wouldnt even think of using a power buff! as they just put swirls in and can even scratch the paint if ur not careful! (when waxing/polishing u should NEVER work in a circular motion, that only puts swirls in it)

I've never even used one...I would like to hear if anyone has used one and if they are any good. I imagine that the pad used would make a huge difference to the affect on your paintwork (good or bad)

what car products do u use karen?

meguiars...I used to use their professional range, but have started buying the new Tech range now...the ones in the purple and bright green containers. Its not for everyone, but I have always been happy with the results and my paintwork on my car speaks for itself really :(

Shane i was working on the little car in my signature till about midnight last night and midnight the night before aswell. I am racing to night so was just getting maintainence and repairs done.

i use a combo of johnsons & johnsons baby shampoo (yes, u heard correct), meguiars (polish n paint cleaner), autoglym (synthetic wax) & turtlewax (carnuaba wax)

thats it, if the paint on ur car looks great, then theres no reason to change hey :)

I use one...I was getting crap results (Swirling and stuff), then I realised it is doing all the work for you and you dont have to push down hard inorder for it to work! After that I got excellent and painless results!

OK people question

Do you stay with a very cruisy, good but not great paid job that is not very challenging...or do you take a well paid job, that will likely work you like a dog and challange you

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
