warning- the number boost setting displayed does not represent actual boost, it is a percentGE ratio. O represents stock boost, 100 represents maximum turbo charger capabilities. hmmm straight forward i guess.

well set it low, go for a drive and see what boost it actually makes. and then just adjust it from there

32 gtr turbos only make 18psi MAX (wastegates disconnected)...so u could say gts-t turbos would be similar, so for say 10psi ud need a percentage of 55%, but set it at like 30% and see what it actually makes

i got it set to 40% i think.. (havent driven in a while) and im just worried it might be a little to high, as the standard boost guage on the centre consol, the arrow hits 1bar (guessing) and stays there :S being as one bar is a little too high for my standard gtt turbo :S, i tihkn i mgiht turn it down

i called three different places today, and was quoted between 1100 bucks and 1500 bucks for a full 3 inch system. does this seem right?

yep it does..where they brand name jap ones?

no, they were just shop made i guess. whcih is why im asking, as brand ones seem to be cheaper, well form auto barn and other sites

oh, well i guess thr shop is including the install fee

full turbo back systems arent cheap.

do you want a stainless exhuast or mild steel one??

also look in the forsale section there is some traders who are selling "catco catalytic high flow 3" cats". get one of them, they are a must for the best flow possible. and are a very good cat..

also if u arent phased on the name of the system x force selling systems on ebay for $675 i think butu only mild steel. they can weld stainless to mild aswell.

what is the difference between stainless and mild steel...(please no smart ass replies) i mean, do they each give different performance/sound? or is it simply a finsih

or look at this one if u are interested. not a bad price.....

thanks daz for taking the time to search for me :P

stainless wont rust, whereas with mild steel, if the car sits and water sits on the steel, rust will occur...also the note is different between them

Cost man. From what I have read if you think you will keep your exaust for more than 5 years go stainless, if not dont waste the money just go for mild steel. Really all it is, is a waste pipe...

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
