im good thanks bryn...haha comin to next weeks dinner then? :)

hey jason, dude seriously get on the phone and demand someone to come out or ur gonna change networks, that's pathetic as!

how's this for shit customer service...

signed up on the 9th November. Their website states 7 - 10 days delivery and setup time....

i waited 2 weeks before i called them, incase they were running a bit behind, because i hadn't heard squat from them...

call them up and they're like "um, oh yeah, there's no spots available at your exchange, you'll just have to wait... sorry about that" and they said it may be 3 or 4 weeks before a spot free'd up. I asked why they hadn't sent the modem/hardware out yet then, and they said "oh, we won't send that until the port is activated"? Yet another way to f**king piss customers off.

waited another week and called them again to see if there was any progress - they go "oh, nah, no progress, except it could be up to 6 months before we get around to looking at yours"

a couple of days later we get an SMS saying the account has been activated, and is ready to go....

it is now a week later, and still no modem, so i call them up and am like "WTF is going on?"

and their response? "Oh, yeah, we're busy.... we ordered your modem yesterday, could be about a week away"

f**kING SICK OF THIS SHIT

have now waited nearly a month for this, when they claim 7 - 10 days delivery/setup time... i feel ive been very f**king patient, but if something else goes wrong in the slightest, i will be speaking with their manager and taking things much, much further!

Telstra????

It's really hard to get good customer service anywhere....

I was using :Optus at home and they were shitfull!!!!! I mean every few days the connection would fail and the modem would reset the password and you had to call optus to fix it....... always spoke to some nice person in india who was as usefull as tits on a bull........ :)

yeah i had to call up 3 (mobile service) and i got some indian bitch, i couldnt understand a word she was saying, so i asked to speak to someoone that could speak english, and she wouldnt,

after about 10 minutes on the phone i eventaully hung up with none of them problems i called up about gettig sorted :)

if u have problems with companies these days and need telephone support and know there call centre is in india or somewhere of that nature. go to there store and talk to someone who is able to speak english and if telephone support is then needed, make them make the call and talk to the operator :)

anyway folks, im off to get a hair cut :) and a new fish. who would have thought that a fish thats about 1inch in size would cost 70 bucks :D the bastard better live a long time.

cya

internode...

Serious :)

They have always been awesome for us. When we moved, they said it could take up to 21 days to get our connection back...it was up and running within 5, and that included the weekend (we moved Saturday, it was back running on Wednesday).

    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
