i'll swap my car and 5k cash for yours

ha ha ha i wont let my car go for less than 15 cos its so well looked after and never get thrashed... ask shane he can confirm this....

man its done 140 on the clock the engins done 90Km but have already done the 100K service in december... it has 200kws....

man i do really want to get a skyline but i love my sil so much.....

yes this man drives like a bitch :)

urs a S13 sil.. and 5k.. hmm haha i guess ill have to see it sometime at a meet.

the sil has tein coilovers, camber tops, castor tops, reco shimmed diff,

was originally a SR20DE 5spd, 92model. has a 93 180 running gear.

this what he sent me..

Red top Sr20Det 5 speed

heavy duty clutch

custom front mount

Arc bov

400hp walbro fuel pump

Remapped ECU

3" turbo back exhaust, Bee R Muffler

t28 turbo on running 1 bar

Trust manual boost controller

T28 turbo

16" Volk Racing CV Pro mags

Tein HA fully adjustable coil over suspension, pillow ball tops (height and camber adjustable)

Japanese body kit

momo steering wheel

Pioneer mp3 placer

Estimate power 170 rwkw. This car pulls away from most GTR’s running similar boost, but that’s only in a straight line. I have ran a 12.9 pass on it as well.

sounds ok to me.. but yet to see it in person..

thanks shane.. but the R34 will stay as sean drives it. and the GTR will go if anything will go.. ive had it for nearly 14-15months.. time to move on.. DORIFTO... :)

so

1 for keep the GTR

0 for trade for S13 oh and it makes 170kw haha :)

keep them coming..

170kw thats pretty poor......

keep the gtr...and make it 2wd.

sounds good

but compression &/or leakdown test are the first things i'd be doin

I would be expecting 200rwkw.....and then it might pull away from gtr's

the car loks thrashed, does it have an LSD? cos the na sils didnt get them...

if he is willing to give you 12k extra the i would prolly consider it but man that car really looks and sounds like its been thrashed.... so he values he's car only a 8 grand...

but 12.8 at onlt 170kws?? i wonder how fast mine is???

give it to me and ill find out :)

Take it. You don't need massive power for drift. But then again i'm biased :)

yeah reshimmed reco LSD.. should be fine.. uh yeah 12k on top. thats with him getting all minor stuff done. eg wheels, wipers.. prob could get it with 13k my way..

i doubt it will be as quick as a GTR.. not mine :) haha anyway i intend on givin it a beating  and its a S15 ADM turbo..

first mod... RAS KIT :)

thats doesnt seem possible unless it weighs 900kg.....170kw is not enough to get it doing low 13's

yeah t28 housing are what the sr's use....if it is a t28rs....then it should be pushing 200+

well get the cash up to 13...

then you'll be sweet... you still have the 34 any way.....

T28 only come on the GTiR, S14/15 the S13 and RPS13 180sx use T25 and type x T25g..

the jap spec 15 comes with the T28 BB turbo...

not sure if the Aus spec did though...

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
    • There is a really fun solution to this problem, buy a Haltech (or ECU of your choice) and put the MAF in the bin.  I'm assuming your going to want more power in future, so you'll need to get the ECU at some stage. I'd put the new MAF money towards the new ECU.
