 i am soo pissed off today

:verymad:F@#KEN D&(KHEAD MO*#&$**@KER!!!!!!!!!

Bloody Hell its been a month since i sent my turbo and made payment to Gary (A.K.A. Sydnykid) and i havent hered anthing from him, i've sent him my details a few times now and PM him heaps, his PM is full now and cant accept more. Now i've even resorted to Spamming his other threads where he is more active just to get his attention.....

I am getting really pissed off, i used to have his mobile number but i cant find it now....

:no::verymad::verymad::verymad::verymad:

take a chill pill lee, u'll get ur turbo and u'll get exactly what u were after, maybe he's been busy?

plus think about it, u sent ur turbo down to him (lets say that took 4 days to get to him), he then sends it to the refurb. place (couple more days) they do their work on it (depending on how busy they are, could take upto a week) they then send it back to him (another few days) then he sends it back to u (nother 4 or so days) so that ends up being near on 4 working weeks.

and to think u were blaming the lag on the 'low compression'

yuo going to purchase another? caus i can find one for you

umm ask me after lunch

sure, send them through :verymad:

It is still not as punchy as it was, as in the boost doesnt hit as hard, but it is getting better, with the tune it will be 100% and my tyres will be gone in a week :verymad: lol

You find, I buy...deal

He told me he would send it back 2 weeks ago.....

He didn't refurbish mine he sent the one that was already with him.....

But I’m just really pissed cos of no reply from him, not even just sum thing to say when ETA will be just silence for the last 2 weeks.....

Man the initial thread said the turn around time would be 2 weeks but its been a month already.......

I just hate being stuffed around, if he just PM with an update I would be more happy and patient.

I can sympathis with you lee. I got some stuff for my dads RC boats back in may he paid for it straight away, we recieved the first lot cause if he sent it all at once i might have got held up in customs, However we are nearly in november and the second shipment has been promised to be sent 3 times and still nothing, and now he wont answer my e-mails.

ahh well then i can see why u are so pissed, been given a timeframe and its blown out by double! but the one thing i have learnt, in the car scene u cant really depend on many people/shops to deliver things ontime and as u wanted them

sounds good to me andy

man it the only thing that really makes me  is the lack of reply, I’m patient a month means little to me its just I need to be kept up to date. just a quick msg to say your still looking into it, or even "read your PM will be in contact with you soon, very busy"

man I just hate being left in that dark.......

And when i'm pissed off things tend to ramp up pretty quick.....

I'm sure there's a good reason he hasn't replied... Sydneykid's a good guy, he'll get back to you eventually

But I know what you mean, I HATE when you get no response. Just a really quick, simple response like hey, sorry about the delay, i'll update you as soon as I know what's going on. It would take less than a minute to do!

joke of the day -

A magician worked on a cruise ship. The audience was

different

each week, so the magician did the same tricks over

and over

again. One problem: The captain's parrot saw the shows

each week

and began to understand how the magician did every

trick.

Once he understood, he started shouting in the middle

of the

show: "Look, it's not the same hat!"

"Look, he's hiding the flowers under the table."

"Hey, why are all the cards the ace of spades?"

The magician was furious but couldn't do anything...it

was,

after all, the captain's parrot. Then the ship sank.

The magician found himself on a piece of wood in the

middle of

the sea with, as fate would have it, the parrot. They

stared at

each other with hatred but did not utter a word. This

went on

for a day and then another and then another. Finally

on the

fourth day, the parrot could not hold back: "OK, I

give up.

Where's the f#$@ing ship?"

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
