Hi all

As topic stated, i'd really like to know from all you guy point of view where does R34N1 turbo sit in comparision with 2530' , T51z' ....Apexi RX something...? ( Please update if you knows any others similar size turbo )

From what my tuner said, R34N1 will make a bit less power than 2530.

From a few people i know, R34N1 make more torque, boost come in earlier and so is Trust T51Z!

Any commences?

depends on the type of R34 N1. afaik there are two common ones. one has .60 comp and .64 turb A/R covers. the other has .48 comp and .64 turb A/R covers. the first type will make about the same or a little more or less power than 2530s and the second type about the same or a little more or less than GT-SS.

dont know exactly where the 517zs fit in.

So what power and what's the different between all 3 models? R32, 33 and R34?

Thanks.

( I did search and couldn't find )

R34 N1 ball bearing turbos 320HP usually around $3000 mark. Great light tune upgade. Can get up to 350 RWKW ?

I have R33 N1 bush turbos and car was dynoed at 296 RWKW so they would be good for around 300 RWKW depending on mods you have.

Theres a good article in HPI magazine about the differences a couple of months ago.

Thank a lot for that mate.

Any chance if you can tell me what supports and how much boost you're running to make that power?

1.2-1.3 bar roughly 17 PSI 296rwkw

.85 bar 13 PSI 250rwkw

r33 N1 turbs

stock engine

nismo pump

big injectors 720cc(overkill i know)

piggy back computer, power fc would do it too

bigger front mount and intercooler piping

hks iridium sparkies

hks evc

Luck that all this stuff came with car.

oh and i put in front pipes, big cat 3 to 3.5 inch exhaust

i am unsure, but i beleive i have 34n1 turbos in my car. they are bb for sure. but the rest is unknown

from what i know,

i have aftermarket pistons

cams

hks fcon pro v

bigger injectors

arc intercooler

turbo piping and all cooler piping

i run around about 1.2-1.4 bar.

and a veilside high motherf**kin flowing exhaust system

p.s. i still have std dumps

and a ton of other things on there also.

now as for power. i am yet to know. but i'd be dissapointed if i had any less than 300 @ all 4
